Muggus69 (2807) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - NOV 7, 2017
(missed vintage) bottle at "Tony's Taphouse" Sinister looking brew - dark, thick, holds a rim off brown head. Intense from the get go - roast malts, molasses, vanilla, dried fruits, leather, booze. Not as thick as expected - sort of get that with a braggot though - warming, slick texture, long finish. Like a carnival on the palate - roast coffee, bitter chocolate, rich honeyed notes, burnt sugars, raisons & porty rancio notes, finishes dry. Just tremendous - best braggot I've tried!

Black color, dark brown head. Bourbon, alcohol, raisin taste. Mellow, smooth mouthfeel, no bitterness. Very nice! Some sweet aftertaste. Bourbon, vanilla scent.

Nocturne (2238) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2015
330ml bottle. Black with small dark brown head. Strange and complex aroma. Lots of bourbon, soy sauce, meaty umami flavours, blackberry, leather. Taste is sweet, rich, sticky, more soy sauce, molasses. Doesn’t feel close to 15% but not one I’d want to drink every night. Interesting.

Yorker (2117) - Holstebro, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2014
33 cl bottle @ home. Pours black with a small tan head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are roasted malt, bourbon, vanilla, coffee, honey, and ash - with an alcoholic and sweet finish.
