Clear brown color, tan head. Vinous, madeira, alcohol scent. Sweet, vinous, red wine, fudge taste. Grainy aftertaste. Warming alcohol. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high dry bitterness.
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a creamy, beige head. Sweet burned caramel nose, a whiff of wood and also a discreet but fleeing note of phenols. Very rich and potent body, a little cherry, massive, massive woodiness - bordering a little much, yet I still very much enjoy it. Rather hot finish. Good one though! 220313 rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 17, 2012
