50cl bottle at home from Gloucester Services Farm Shop. Nose is light roasted malt, recycled paper. Body is pitch black, head is small, beige, fizzy, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, mild coffee, wood. Medium sweet, medium roasty bitter. Finish is medium lasting roasty medium bitter. Medium body, dry texture, average carbonation. Easy dessert beer, boring but not bad. WaddlingPlatypus (186) - Durham, ENGLAND - JUN 17, 2016
500ml bottle. Dark brown with a frothy caramel head. Faint roasted malt aroma, with an almost imperceptible touch of cream. The flavour is weakly roasted, with black olives and slight cream; it would be much more satisfying if it were more intense. Dermi (1192) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 20, 2016
50 cl, bottled. BB APR16. Pours virtually black with a decent beige head. Aroma: Roasted malt, licorice. Coffee, berries, fruity tones. Taste: Pleasantly sweet, pleasant mild bitterness. Banana, fruity tones. Pleasant notes of licorice and roasted malts, slightly staled coffee. Chocolate, mildly salty, savory taste. Palate: Medium-light body, minimally oily, some carbonation, a bit thin. Moderately dry, bitterish finish, some roasted tones, nutty flavours. Lacks quite a lot on palate, considering abv. Pretty nice stout that has some character. Fin (10699) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2015
Bottle from Thistledown Farm campsite farmshop. Consumed at home, Sunday 20th September 2015. Pours dark brown, a safe easy going stout , a little thin and perhaps even a touch watery, but that said it still tastes fine with all the usual stout attributes shining through. I am getting some cucumber, however that is likely to be from the Fattoush salad that I have been making. Malty with a little caramel and a little sweet edge, I am being unfair this isn’t a bad stout at all. A6 A4 T7 P2 Ov13 3.2 TBone (17783) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 18, 2015

Dark reddish brown colour with a tiny off-white head.
Mild hops, malt and mild sweetness in the aroma. The flavour is pretty much the same. Boring. Not my kind of stout.

Medium bodied with soft carbonation. charule (2277) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 29, 2015

Pours very dark brown. Taste has chocolate, malts, coffee, a little bit toffee. Despite all these things, it does end up being a bit on the watery side, not a very strong taste. Ok to drink, anyway, mostly due to the slight taste of coffee. SperkeleForce (791) - FINLAND - APR 20, 2015
