BlackHaddock (7690) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2015
500ml bottle: obtained from a Wye Vale Garden Centre and poured into an ’Old Speckled Hen’ badged pint vase on 1st Feb 2015. Good looking brew, clean and clear amber body the head being a cream coloured affair. Malts lead the way with semi-sweet toffee and caramel evident in both the aromas and taste. Hints of nuts and dark fruits in the flavour which helped to stop the sweetness running away with the brew. All in all, not bad at all.
