UPDATED: FEB 7, 2013 Dark brown-black in colour with steady head. Taste of malt, nuts, grains and torf. Okay, but nothing special. McTapps (6976) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - FEB 1, 2013
After meat broth experiences I rather stayed away from Schwarzbier-style kind of beers, but well, you can’t have everything. This one pours in in a deep black with steady and creamy head and medium body. Taste of herbs, roast spices, nuts and rich malt. Quite spicy and rich in taste. Too much explosions for me. Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, smoke, caramel and roasted beans. Roasty and malty flavour ending in dark chocolate notes. A decent schwarzbier. KnutAlbert (6797) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 28, 2013
Cola color, low carbonation. Sweet, fruity, grains, a hint of roasted malt, but this falls flat on its face. A hint of chocolate, but this is like making cocoa with water instead of milk. Tjoxen (173) - SWEDEN - JAN 14, 2013
Pours dark brown with tanned head. Aroma of roasted malt, dried fruit. Taste of roasted malt, a bit smoke, ash. Quite sweet with a it dry bitter finish. Its a bit abrupt but when drinking it a bit warmer there are more taste.

Om formuleringsglädjen ett öl väcker är något som helst mått på dess förtjänster kan vi väl säga så här: Störtebeker Schwarzbier smakar bra. Ja, det var nog allt. Slit slutsatserna med hälsan. Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - JAN 8, 2013
NIce and refreshing too. NOt so strong in features but quite nice to drink. Great shape and colour. Cool_Bond (2813) - KUNG_AV_OL @ Instagram, SWEDEN - DEC 30, 2012
Good taste and smell. The aftertaste is thin. But I would not complain about this beer because I think it is underrated. nazzty (1377) - Ödåkra - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - DEC 27, 2012
Beautiful roasted, slightly smoky flavor with generous sweetness from a mellow malt. Perle hops are mild and round off a beautiful boquet. Extremely well made. Cantabrian (1161) - Christchurch NZ, now Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - DEC 25, 2012
Too much coffee. Roasted and charred bitter, all immersed into coffee. Tastes like one of those Japanese cold coffee drinks one gets out of vending machines. Palate is chalky, but that does not compensate for the faults. The aroma is the worst: fetid, it does smell like coffee that comes out of you a couple of hours after you’ve had plenty of caffeine.
