Pours a golden unclear beer with a good white head. Smells fresh, hops and metal. Tastes fruity, metal and hops. Average carbo, thin body and a watery texture.

Slightly hazy. Straw yellow. Thick and super persistent head. Smells like booze and wheat. Taste is an herbal melange and lemon. Spicy finish.

De geur valt goed mee. De kleur wat troebel. De smaak is ok, maar geen topper.

17/08/2016 @home - 33cl bottle from a bioshop in Brussels South railway station. Clear golden, nice carbonation, fixed creamy white foam. Nose is sweet malty, spices, some dusty grain. Taste is average tripel : sweet malty, spices. Easy going down. Too easy.

Hamirubi (595) - Waarschoot, BELGIUM - AUG 1, 2016
33cl draft at a bio beer pop-up bar in Ghent (21 VII 2016), drank as "Modeste". A golden, bit hazy brew with creamy white foam. The nose has keen hints of cellar, malts and herbs. The mouthfeel is lovely dry-ish, with lots of non-fruity hops. The bitters are quite sharp, resulting into an abrupt, very dry finish. Abrupt, yet with a lingering alcohol sensation. Good.

0.33 bottle.
A hazy, deep gold color with a small, white head. Aroma of butter, biscuits, and dough - it is a tad sugary with some cookie dough to boot. A sweet, yeasty taste with spices, dough, and vanilla. A medium body, a slick texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is long, sweet, and a tad more alcoholic than expected. Overall the beer is not bad but neither does it impress too much.

Nogal een zwaar bier, zeer traag te drinken, weinig of geen schuimkraag. Het valt nog mee.
