Labeled as Strubbe greatest Pils. pretty sure this is an alias. Pours clear blonde, unconsistant white head. Smell is sweet, maltsyrup. Taste is rather bitter, grainy, metallic though. Ok body and carbo. Ends a bit dry from the sugaryness. ForlornHope (524) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - NOV 26, 2015
Bottle at home. Clear pale yellow with a creamy white head. Good Pils aroma of noble hop. Taste is sweet and with a good balance of bitterness. Good mouthfeel, rich and satisfying, the sweetness remains but there is a firm malt base with vanilla notes. An above average and tasty beer. Hamirubi (587) - Waarschoot, BELGIUM - OCT 10, 2015
25cl bottle at Backdoor, Ghent (23 IX 2015). A very modest pilsener beer from Brouwerij Strubbe. The looks are golden with vivid carobination and lovely collar. The aromas are most subtle, with some hai and mild hop notes. The yeast flavours make me think of dough and even earth. The taste is humble yet decent: Medium sweet, medium bitter. Making this pils a light bodied lager beer with a thin texture and almost no finish. Alengrin (5376) - BELGIUM - OCT 16, 2014
Tasted from tap as Strubbe Super Pils years ago. A simple but honest, light malty sweet ’pilsje’ with soft carbonation, mellow mouthfeel and light grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Very straightforward of course, but decent for the style and certainly thirst-quenching, without the annoying quality shortcuts ’macro lagers’ often show. 25 cl. bottle. Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops and a bitter finish.

Bottle @ Hotel Adagio, Caen, France. Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, grain, grassy hops. Flavor is malt, grain, grassy. Medium body, lively carbonation. 060814 bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - APR 29, 2013
33cl draugt @ Backdoor cafe, Gent 25/04. - typical Belgian sub-par pils for the undiscerning tooghanger demography. watery, some malt, decent hop spice. Drinkable, but not thirst quneching, nothing distateful to be ashamed of, but epidemically low in taste profile. Old-school B-Pilsners like these do not make one regret spending the summer in Germany. dwyerpg (6187) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAR 27, 2013
Much maltier than I like my pilseners and without that good crisp bite either. Drinkable but disappointing. rayOfBeer (674) - El Cerrito, California, USA - OCT 15, 2012
Bottle: light yellow with medium-sized white head. Aroma is spicy yeast mixing with straw, tart grass, and some sweet caramel. Flavor is sweet-tart with grass, honey, a touch of bisquit and a little caramel. Overall, I like the flavor which is more to the sweeter side for a pils, but I still enjoyed it. 77ships (9828) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 8, 2012
25 cl. draft @ Le Bier Circus - still curious if a Belgian brewery can make a good, pilsner - this is probably not it, slightly better than the general swill but still not all that awesome - golden, clear, reasonable whit head -smell is grains, light lager yeast, touch of hops - standard for ilk, grains upfront, light mellow, touch pale malts hint sweet, body is also lightly grainy, touch spice, light floral hops, touch yeast, light grass in the back.
