At Heeren van Liedekerke. Aroma is more like an ordinary brown than like a Oud Bruin. Aroma of burned, roasted toast, dark fruits. Poured dark red with a tan head. Taste has raisins, fruits, something light sour, pearsyrup. Finish is light acid with red fruits. Fizzy mouthfeel, yet soft.

(25cl bottle from Prik&Tik Leuven) Red brown, looks good. Dark fermenting fruit, quite sweet but the sourness balances just enough. Smooth drink. Better than expected, in fact quite pleasant.

Zlotta (2876) - Hagen / Bonn, GERMANY - JAN 23, 2017
0.33 l bottle from Prik & Tik Baelus, Cuve 2013, best before May 2021. Clear, deep ruby with a medium large, frothy, rather quickly diminishing, beige head. Sourish-fruity, slightly vinous aroma of red grapes, oak, balsamic vinegar and a touch of brett funk. Sweet, slightly sourish, quite fruity and a bit vinous taste of red grapes, brown sugar, oak, some balsamic vinegar and slight hints of brett, followed by a short, just slightly bitter, moderately tart, a bit vinous-dry and minimally metallic finish. Thin to medium body, minimally astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite tasty, a bit too sweet but still very pleasant, not overly complex but with a nice, bretty and vinous touch.
