A: Pours a dark amber to brown color forming a small yellow head with medium retention forming some lingering and spotty molasses lacings in the glass

30-AUG-2017, 2009 bottle @home, from Kihoskh.
Dark Brown with a lasting, lacing, tan head.
Aroma is tart, red wine, Wood. Taste the same. Sweet, tart, sweeter than most sour Browns but not too much. Nice one. jjunghun2 (12) - - AUG 12, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 12, 2017 Deep dark redish brown colour.
Moderately sour. Plum, raisin, cherry and more dark berries. Slightly bitter after. No booziness at its abv. Fin (10743) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2017
Bottle picked up at the Old Schoolhouse, Flanders, consumed at home Monday 7th August 2017 in the company of Craig, Stella and the kids. This is a back to their brilliant best from Struise, having had a few rather average beers of late. Fruity,
tangy, wonderfully zappy, dark sticky fruits, wonderful sourness, this is a superb beer. A8 A4 T9 P5 Ov17 4.3 cgarvieuk (25391) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 7, 2017

Bottle at home in garden, 6th August 17. Pours pretty much black. Aroma is tart, barrel, fruit. Taste is barrel, fruit, not as sour as I thought it would be, lots of wood, where’s the sour? More fruit, thick body, liquirce, almost like a sour stout, lots of Struiss characteristics. Good, but I expected more. DutchDrebus (6080) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - AUG 2, 2017
Bottle @ home. Dark brown colour with a small offwhite to beige head. Smells roasty, liquorice, slightly sourish, red fruits, forrest fruits. Tastes liquorice, sour, roasty, laurier. It’s nice but nothing crazy. Overpriced. Full body, soft to medium carbo. Maakun (6221) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - AUG 1, 2017
Bottle shared. Very dark mahogany with barely any head. Balsamico, oxidized red wine, dark chocolate, coffee, earthy notes, massive overripe black berries and other fruits, tar. Very thick and concentrated aroma. Medium sweet and quite sour with roasted and oxidized bitter finish with turns into a soft long lasting puckering tartness. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. Very intense and complex, very nice. The more I drink the more sour it seems, but great to share a bottle! sjogro (4574) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - AUG 1, 2017
Shared from bottle thanks to Maakun, thanks! Black with thin greyish head. Dark roasted malts and massive balsamic. Sour grapes, prunes, raisans, licorice, clogs dirty with cowpoop on the doormat, all kinds of grass and herbs, wet brown clay, dirty boots. Big sweet and even more sour. Over medium body, very syruppy, thick and concentrated stiff with aromas. Nice. martythesmarty (385) - SWEDEN - JUL 31, 2017
Bottle. Pours black with a small cream head. Aroma is both sweet and sour with notes of chocolate and strawberries. Taste is like a chocolat dessert with strawberries. Really interesting.
