COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First blended by Glenn & Urbain at the Bles Festival in Zottegem Belgium, last October 2008, for the beer geek public, and around closing time. Many positive feedbacks around the blend, kept following both breweries. As a tribute, and honour to the late Pre-Zbf 2009 festival, we decided together with Alvinne, to officialize this blend to a one time labelled bottling this year. Only a thousand 33cl bottles were filled, to be distributed and sold on this fest, and in our respective shops.

330cl bottle. thanks to devon and the other guys for sharing....nice raspberry red appearance with a soapy light pink head.... funky nose with a huge red fruit component to it. nice, dry, sour, and funky....tart dry red cherries with a lively mouthfeel. a little short on the sustenance of flavor but this, too, was highly drinkable.

33cl, new exclusive brew Anno 2009, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex sour Kriek, yet refreshing, balanced, cloudy, nearly no head, good brew

Lagunitasfan (1323) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 6, 2009
Bottle from WeeheavySD at the T3. Looks like tomato juice and cranberry. I sucked the puddle from the table after the bottle gushed. Tartness and cherries in the nose. Flavor is sour and cinnamon. Yummy.

Served from a bottle at toncatchers T3 tasting! Thanks to stefanje, lagunitasfan, weeheavysd, fordest, wetherel, alohac and of course toncatcher for suppling the house and grub. Besides bieng a gusher this was a very good sour. Loved the subtle tartness ballanced with the mildly sweet cherries.

StefanSD (2451) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - APR 5, 2009
Bottle at Toncatchers T3. Pours a pink color with no head. The aroma is funky sour cherries. The flavor is sour/tart cherries with a good malty backbone and a bit of lactic. The palates was silky smooth with some acidity. The finish was long and sour. Overall: A very nice sour. Thanks to Wee heavy for bringing this.

Dammit,(2500th hundred rating, hell yeah, 2.5 beer god, rock out rock, out, I am rocking!) I thought rating 17 of this beer would be from an American rater, yet someone has rated it I bet he though not likely /she has lived in Europe for a while but forgot to change their locale. This alright is very good. Dammit I was ready for this but I went to the pour, it is a gusher, a big old gusher for a damn small bottle, i’m sad for what was lost. Pours pinkish red, with a thin tan ring. Taste is tart cherry, very nice. I like this despite the fruit beer with some sourness i faced in this beer. Nose is sweet cherry some tartness. good and bad, thanks Capedbrewsader for saving the day.

JoeinDahlem (1503) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 1, 2009
Bottle at Pre-ZBF. Wow. Really pleasant and interesting beer. Soft, tart, wild cherry nose. Flavor is not quite sour, more like softly tart, with a tasty cherry-stem nuttiness that carries long into the aftertaste. Really damned nice.

bierkoning (13297) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - MAR 31, 2009
Bottle. Ruby red color. Soft cherry, cherry pits and marzipan aroma. Moderately sour flavor, with some cherries. Some lemon and the slightest touch of brett. Surprisingly short aftertaste. Seems a bit too young. Nevertheless a fine beer.
