First blended by Glenn & Urbain at the Bles Festival in Zottegem Belgium, last October 2008, for the beer geek public, and around closing time. Many positive feedbacks around the blend, kept following both breweries. As a tribute, and honour to the late Pre-Zbf 2009 festival, we decided together with Alvinne, to officialize this blend to a one time labelled bottling this year. Only a thousand 33cl bottles were filled, to be distributed and sold on this fest, and in our respective shops.

Little cloudy reddish to rust brown beer, small beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sour, cherries, Rodenbach, marzipan. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sour, yoghurt, raspberries, sour cherries, tobacco. Aftertaste: lemon juice, little bitter, fruity, very sour. Love it.

12oz bottle from secret santa 2011. Ruby brown with an almost non-existant head that disappears pretty much instantly. Funk, light sour with a bit of tang although not overwhelming, cherry. Moderately low carbonation and body, slight and growing sour with acidic, becomes dry, with some cherry, combination of light funk and more sour. Quite nice.

Der kirschige Sureantrunk ist ziemlich wssrig, was angesichts der gelungenen Aromen schade ist. Die Aromen werden mit der Zeit zwar strker, bleiben aber weit unter dem, was ich mir wnsche. Mild, permanent trocken, zunehmende Bitterkeit. Gelungen. 6/9/11/7/11/9

Bottle. Pours a cloudy reddish/brown with no head. Aroma of brett, cherries, acid. Finishes dry and it is a nice sour. Light cherry flavor, fairly well done.

Bottle, Kulminator. Pours a clear ruby red body with a nice fizzy one inch pink tinged head. The nose is bretty and funky with some minimal cherry. Doesnt smell acetic or sour at all, just funky. The flavor is dry and funky, tons of brett, just a touch of fruitiness on the finish, but no sweetness at all. More dry and pitty than fruity. Zero acetic acid, just tons of funk. Mouthfeel is fully attenuated and completely dry with fizzy soft carbonation. Not overly lively. Very nice well-rounded wild ale. I like it a lot.

Got a bottle from user joes as part of a debt thing he owed me. Shared it with benzai. I dont think this is a nice way to thank someone for a service he provided ;) This beer really wasnt my taste. Its so very sour. Very acidic. To me, this one was even more sour then the Cantillon Kriek. Too much for me to handle.

Fairly nice color, but bad smell. Smells like some kind of chemical cleaning agent. Taste is sour and unbalanced.

2009 Vintage [email protected]: pours dark red/bordeaux with weird off pink, plaster-like pink head, smells like watery tart cherries & wet feet, taste is off-tasting struiselisis with watery tart jam & rotting cherries, slightly sour with an acidic finish, musty wood, light body & flat, ok but in the end not a very good blend or a good example of its style

Thanks Darkguardian for sharing this at Ryans. Sweet cherries, a bit of wood, minor lactic sourness, dominant acetic finish. Blah.

Bottled. Cloudy reddihs brown, almost no head. Tart cherry aroma. Medium bodied with quite intense flavour of bitterish cherry stars and tart cherries over a firm malt back bone. Hevily tanninic finish. Interesting and realy tasty
