COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Belgian Royal Stout was brewed as a tribute to one of America’s best pubs. Jennifer and Chris Lively who run the place may be proud of Ebenezer’s Pub. Not only do they have 35 beers on draught, most of these are hard to find Supreme Belgian Ales. Above that, they have one of the most extensive bottle-conditioned beer lists through different bottling dates we have ever seen. Not only can you drink almost any Belgian beer, the worlds best brewery’s are represented. A lot of the guests talk about the American Kulminator, yet with that difference that the Belgian inspired food, is simply great. Black Albert was brewed and crafted with a 100% Belgian ingredients. Pours a blacker than black beer with an inch of dark tan head that lingers as it cascades into itself. Nice aroma of bitter-sweet chocolate, fresh torrified coffee beans, barley, candy sugar, complex fruits, and floral hops. At the front, there is spiced baker’s chocolate, fresh mocha, caramel like barley touches, and underlying hints of dried fruits which marries the back of your palate and features a Top, and well integrated but not overbearing hop flavour. The after-taste is well balanced and shows a panorama of extreme sensations like chocolate and coffee bitters, a plum cake richness that covers the palate, and a crisp impression of hop bitters that brings elegance and freshness into this massive brew. Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzysta, piana brązowa.
Aromat średnio-intensywny, popiół, gorzka czekolada, mocno palona kawa, estry owocowe (gruszki, śliwki).
W smaku pełne i bardzo intensywne, silnie popiołowe, dużo gorzkiego kakao, goryczka wysoka, ziemisto-popiołowa. Finisz alkoholowy. Wybitnie degustacyjne piwo.

Zwart bier zonder schuim. Smaak is krachtig warm, bitter en rokig met iets van bittere chokolade, pruimen en zwarte bessen. Echt een bier voor de winteravond.

Dark brown beer, with dark beige head. Aroma is roasty, some chocolate, malt. Taste is vanilla, milk chocolate, roasted malt and it's all covered with alcohol. Very good beer but needs aging a lot. Medium sweet, if there was any hops, then all of it is covered with bitterness from alcohol.

Uzupełnienie profilu notatki.
Piana średnia, szybko znika. Kolor czarny, nieprzejrzysty. Belgijsko-RISowe WOW.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2017 Pours dark brow with high beige head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, dried fruits, caramel, brown sugar, some red fruits and a hint of coffee. The aroma isn't very intensive but rich and complex. Unfortunately everything is covered by tons of alcohol. In taste medium chocolaty sweetness with a long and ashy roasty bitter finish. Alcohol is strongly warming.
I belive this can be really great, but it definitely needs some additional aging. For now it's extremely boozy.

Przemyciło się wiele belgijskich nut - przejrzałe śliwki, delikatne przyprawy. Reszta to wanilia, suszona śliwka, dostojny karmel. Bardzo fajna gładkość. Świetne piwo.

Pours black with a tan head and medium lace. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasty, alcohol. coffee, lots of maltyness and a nice milk chocolate creamyness. Taste is creamy roasty with a lot of chocolate, milk chocolate, coffee alcohol warmth (alcohol well hidden), raisins. and ripe plums. Good quality and nice balance.

Maybe a but of time (two years) can improve this beer, a bit hot with alcohol in evidence, dried fruits, plum and dates, some roasted and cocoa, black with a good tan head, full body, again dark fruits and roasted...very good.

Butelka 0,33. Czarne, wpadające w brązowe, bez piany. W aromatach niestety na pierwszym planie alkohol, potem praliny, lekko wanilia. W smaku dzieje się więcej: czekolada gorzka, czekolada mleczna, wanilia, migdały, kawa. Bez zachwytu, jednak mamy w Polsce lepsze RISy.
