SilverfoX (871) - Norfolk, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2015
treacle, leather, dark chocolate aromas, pitch black with a tan head, chocolate, coffee, dark fruits flavours very smooth with no hint of its alcohol, rather good.

stangger (619) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 30, 2015
Dark, deep, with a rich purple hue. A touch of sweetness, strong roasted malt, complex fruit flavors that last for what seems like a minute after each sip. Blackberry and chocolate fight for the finish. Spectacular.

DuffMan (10452) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 11, 2015
Bottle, shared at RBAG 2015 by dfearnly. Near black, hearty black malts, spicy, with understated berry character. Not sure whether the berry adds much here, but such a great beer anyway!

dfearnley (2218) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 11, 2015

Bottle. Gusher. Thick black pour with light mocha head. Aroma is chocolate, berries, roasted malts, coffee, and oak. Taste is roasted malts, berry, oak, and coffee. Very solid, the black berry really shines.

mrol (332) - - JUL 3, 2015
Pours very dark brown with off white head. Nose and taste of blackberry, oak, roast chocolate, roast coffee and vanilla. Medium body.

Black Albert strong stout inspired by the British Imperial Stout tradition as revived by American microbrewers. Described as a "Belgian Royal Stout" and made with ingredients of only Belgian origin. Bitterness of 100 IBU, deep black color of 160 EBC.

tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - JUN 1, 2015
Bottle: Dense black body with a khaki foam that recedes quickly to a collar. Smells like chocolate covered raspberries... Or blackberries, I guess. Lots of berry juicy, chocolate, roast, & burnt caramel. Flavor has a sharp berry skin note to it up front, as it lingers into a softer sweetness from the chocolate malt. Notes of molasses, burnt brown sugar, soy. Finishes like chocolate covered raspberry candy with a touch of roasted malt to offset & balance. Pretty warming & heavy. Good stuff.

Ferris (15906) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 30, 2015
Bottle - Dark chocolate, some light blueberry and barrel notes. Jet black with a nice brown head. Deep dar roast, bitter chocolate and some bitter and Berry notes. Blueberry is subtle.

Acid303 (674) - Barcelona, CATALONIA, - MAY 26, 2015
75cl bottle, served in Tulip. What an amazing brew, only the aroma seems "average" for a beer of this class. Blackberries are so well integrated, just a slight fruity touch enough to make it special. Wood, coffee, hops, long and pleasant dry aftertaste...and the rest is magic till the end.
