COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Black Damnation series is a dark twist of Urban’s mind. His idea is to realize a dozen beers with the use of Black Albert, and over a period of two years, that are as black as hell, filthy rich in the nose and with a massive taste.

Black Damnation III was made with Black Albert that aged for 3 months on Paul Melia’s (Mes) favorite Whisky, the "Caol Ila’s Distillers Version 1995".

750ml brown bottle that crushed my sobriety at RBAG 2017. Deathy black pour, oily, coated the glass with it’s evil deliciousness. The pour was from the lower part of the bottle, a lot of cloudiness. Head holds itself to a thin beige ring of foam. The nose is winy, roasty, grapes. The taste - chocolate malt, roasted malt, wood, caramel, toasty. Some alcohol. Big, big, big. This was delightful.

750ml bottle, 2012 vintage, killer 9 piece side plate .. dark black .. burnt coco, barrel, tar, burnt tar, deep issues, depression that heroin is caused by, burnt old wood, oil, booze .. The absolute pinnacle of Black Albert barrel aging. Intense and rich, boozy and there’s a detective in the bushes. *****

Can shared at RBAG Summer Gathering 2017. Viscous near black pour with a khaki head. Brothy aroma and flavour, with soy and light peat, undertones of aniseed and maple. Rich and complex.

On tap at VCBF17, Belgium. Nose is slightly peated whiskey, roasted malt. Body is black, head is very small, brownish, creamy, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma is peated, whiskey, old wood, dust. Light sweet, heavy bitter. Finish is long lasting roasty medium to heavy bitter, medium alcohol warmth. Full body, oily texture, nearly flat carbonation. Quite heavy, strong flavor, very tasty, great one.

Rami Rami is drinking a Black Damnation III - Black Mes by De Struise Brouwers at Czerniakowska Geste, gladkie, czekoldowo-bombonierkowo-sososojowe, robi sie łał, super zbalansowany, w dobrym momencie pity imho - fajnie sie wylezakowal mimo dosc specyficznych warunkow przechowywania, klasa.
Rami Rami: jeszcze pumpernikel solidny

Great beer. Roasted malt was heavy with hops at the finish. Sweetness from oak with chocolate and whisky. Smooth and heavy, dark as night.

750ml Bottle at home, split with the Beast, 3rd March 17. Pours black, thick, little head, sticks to the glass. Aroma is heady, liquorice, coffee, peat, liquor, wood. Taste is liquorice, sweet, peat, whiskey, barrel, wood, complex, drinks so smoothly, would not know this is 13%. Delicious impy, maybe one of the best in the series for me.
