750ml bottle shared at Black Damnation grand tasting at deTolly as Black Damnation XXI. Pours black, almost no head, still. Aroma is roasty, winey, caramelly, toffee. Taste is rich, chocolatey, fruity, cocoa. Mild smoke in aftertaste. Well balanced and very well covered alcohol. Full body, soft carbo. 750ml brown bottle that crushed my sobriety at RBAG 2017. Deathy black pour, oily, coated the glass with it’s evil deliciousness. The pour was from the lower part of the bottle, a lot of cloudiness. Head holds itself to a thin beige ring of foam. The nose is winy, roasty, grapes. The taste - chocolate malt, roasted malt, wood, caramel, toasty. Some alcohol. Big, big, big. This was delightful.
