COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Black Damnation series is a dark twist of Urbans mind. His idea is to realize a dozen beers with the use of Black Albert, and over a period of two years, that are as black as hell, filthy rich in the nose and with a massive taste.

Black Damnation IV was made with Black Albert that aged for 6 months on very old rum barrels.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2015 Beautifully resolved flavours of coffee, earth& mocha wrapped in a thickish silky furry sappy wrap. Some cherry kirsh elements in there too. Long and decedantly morish.

Old 330ml bottle sent to me a while back from Garthgargoyle, thanks man! The pour is as one might expect very thick and very black with lots of chocolate mocha head. Aroma is chocolate, loads of black liquorice, rum and ash. Taste, lots of ash, black liquorice, bitter coffee, some sweetness, finish is bitter, mouthfeel is thick. Very tasty.

Fľaa. Tmav, a olejov hned farba, stredne hned pena. Vňa asne kvov, čokoldov. V chuti praen slady, kva, jemne vanilka, prezret slivky. Ndhern pivo, asne jemn a pitn. Chuť, ako keby to lealo v sudoch po bourbon.

Bottle. Aroma chocolate, roasted and also assertive berries with sourness, brusnice, clearly hinting at barrel ageing. Lively black colour. Taste has literally no trace of harshness. Charming harmony of dark chocolate, coffee, deep roasted notes, but also supporting sweetness and obvious sourish fruity twist. Light cinnamon and liquorice. Complex, layered, rewarding. Very good.
