Briljant bier, maar dat rokerige is toch echt niet mijn ding. Voor de rest super.

Turboninja (956) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 24, 2017
[email protected], Tampere, Finland. Bitter, pungent aroma of bit sour and sweet dark fruits with clear smoke background. Raisin, wet rags, some yeast. Medium/light body with light carbonation. Averagely balanced with medium aftertaste with dry, dark fruits. Overall, quite winery feeling with too light palate for the style. Still, smokiness is nicely implemented. Weird.

Habanero (4949) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - JUN 19, 2017
Bottled. Pours clear deep brown with an average beige head. Aroma of chocolate, wood, toffee, earthy notes and some dark fruits. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry, somewhat umami and a little bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice Ale. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Gangstergafje (1389) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - APR 21, 2017
Had the beer during the 2016 Kompaan Bloedbroeder festival. The looks of the beer are nice. The beer has a dark brown color, like the color of cola. It seems a little cloudy and hardly any foam is formed. I wish there was a bit more foam. The smell is a bit mild. I smell some quite sweet malts, some salty and bitter smoke aromas and some chocolate. The smell is quite sweet, which i don’t mind. The smell has some touches of a barley wine and also a sour twist of a sour. I also smell som e oak wood. The taste is nice, with a nice sweetness. There are some Belgian sweet yeast touches, slightly sour hops a nd a nice bitter and slightly sweet smoke aroma. There are nice dark fruits present, some raisin. It is very warming. The palate is nice, not very special though. All in all, a very good beer. It is a nice blend between a Belgian Ale, bock beer and Eastern European smoked beers.

Plum and florals. Some light barrel but well integrated. Black pour with decent head. Syrupy consistency like honey. Sweet finish. Well done. Tap at Maxs.

Pours a thin brown head with candy and cinnamon aromas. Oil black colored body. Sweet in mouth with dry roasted malts. A bit too dry roasted for me but long and thick palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
