Bottle @ home. Clear yellow colour with a huge white head that doesn?t last long. It?s like pouring lipton iced tea. Smells sourish, herbs and spices, fresh, somewhat malty, slightly lemon, yeasty. Tastes malty, sour, refreshing, slightly iron. Slighty thin body and nicely fizzy carbo. Could be worse, could be better.

Bottled. Dark blonde with a fine head. Peppery, spicy nose, fruit pie, ginger. Very strange. Spicy flavor, ginger, honey, orange, pepper. Too spicy. Full, silky body. Medicinal.

Bottle from bieresgourmet.be webshop. Pours a hazy dark blonde body with a medium foamy white head. Nose is straw, peaches, wet grass, apricot, mild funky saison yeast notes and hints of pale malts and white candi sugar in the back. Taste is pale malts, sweet saison yeast tones, candi sugar, apricot and hints of wet grass, peaches and mild piney touches. Medium body and carbonation. Very pleasant and easily drinkable beer for the summertime.

12 ounce bottle
I picked this up only because of the label but it turned out to be quite good. A remarkable session beer it is a bit off the beaten path for the style. Whatever it is pick up a bottle assuming you find it for less than $5.00.

Aroma / Appearance - The cloudy orange base is hazy like a polluted sunset. A clean white head traps hints of carbonation. Starchy and peppery it has a kick. Moderate hops carry along for the ride on a bouquet that smells like fresh laundry.

Flavor / Palate - A fresh starchy mouthfeel fizzes on the tongue. The loaf of white bread transforms into peppery spices. Mild and easy going it is flavorful for a light session beer. The yeasty finish is perhaps a bit strong for a saison yet I like what Struise has done with the beer.

A really nice and spicy but weird Saison. Herbs, spices, hay, lemons and pleny of hops. Lots of flavor for a 5% beer and really wel balanced. Big like.

Nice wheaty aroma. Flat texture. Nose promises more than it can deliver in the mouth.
