Previously 13% abv, 11% abv from 2014->. Black Albert was used in a new barrel aging project. More than a year ago, Carlo was able to get his hands on a stock of Four Roses Bourbon barrels, and we happily filled them up with Batch „0". This unique creation was originally to be named 4 Black Roses in honour of its heritage, but our friends in Kentucky strongly advised us not to do so! What to do? As the disowned offspring of Black Albert, the name Cuvée Delphine imposed itself. Savouring the Belgian irony, we are most honoured to have artwork by Delphine Boël shining on this label. You will not find this ale all over the globe. There is no export program, but we will try to provide stock through our web shop and some specialty beer pubs.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2015 Pours a tuilé black (brown rim) with a quickly dissipating milk chocolate-like head. Aroma is mostly alcohol with a well-hidden roastiness. Taste is sweet with not much bitterness and a little burn. Flavors are mostly burnt grains and alcohol. Palate is nice and creamy with ample carbonation. This is good beer, bro.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2017 Dość mocny alkohol w nosie.

Vintage 2013 Bottle.Pours black with beige head that fades after a while.Aroma of Bourbon , coffee and chocolate.Amazingly smooth and creamy mouthfeel.Bourbon forward taste but not boozy at all for the abv.Hints of coffee and bitter chocolate, with an amazingly delicate bourbon aftertaste that lasts. This beer speaks the Truth for sure!

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2017 Vintage 2012

Pitch black beer with a tan coloured head.

Aroma: coffee, sweet, bourbon and some smokiness.

Taste: sweet, coffee, roasted malt, some bourbon, milk chocolate, some vanilla and it ends bitter.

Medium carbonation. My only complaint with this beer that I would've liked less carbonation.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2017 Nice balance, semi sweet, lots of chocolate in aroma, lots of dry fruits in taste, woody finish.
