Poured from bottle thanks AdamJackson. Pours a syrupy amber no head. Aromas of alcohol and dark sweet fruit. Taste is thick and syrup like with notes of caramel booze and fruit. Interesting to try. Whalezz bro! WillRunForBeer (2803) - Massachusetts, USA - MAY 16, 2015
750mL bottle shared by AdamJackson. Thanks! One of just a handful bottles from 2010, or so the story goes. 25 fricken percent. 50 proof. Are you kidding me? Pours grade a maple syrup brown with a beige head and big chunks of floaties. Aroma is raisin, date, brown bread. This smells like a pretty good quad. No hint of the crazy high abv in the nose. Flavor is caramel, toffee, raisin, a bit of wet cardboard. Very syrupy and sweet. An interesting beer, no doubt. AdamChandler (5206) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 16, 2015
I got this bottle some how....I can’t remember how. Split a few ways with some Americans

A - Very dark burnt orange to brown color. A small 1 finger tan head formed then quickly faded.
S - Smells really strong...honestly like an iced Belgian Quad should smell. Intense aroma for sure, lots of strong dark fruits.
T - Well, this is freaking syrupy...so darn thick and sweet. tastes like a strong black tea with a lot of sweet raisins and currants. The taste is just so intense.
M - Dense, thick, straight up syrup.
O - Probably the most intense thick beer I’ve ever had. Very unique, very special but unfortunately, the taste is very hard to get through. mouthfeel is out of this world. Need to make some pancakes.
Red waxed 750ml generously cracked by fishingnet (thanks Ben, you ROCK!) at the Angry Chair brewery stop of the rbwg2015 bus tour. It pours out with a sludge delivering a clear copper liquid that has almost no head and tosses up thick tree stump legginess. The aroma offers up big sugars, molasses, burnt honey and nectar sweet smelling. The taste is intense with thick sugars, molasses, black strap molasses and roasty toasty honey sweetness. Wow. This is crazy, big, bold, smooth slick and yummy. What a great sipper. chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - MAR 1, 2015
750 ml bottle shared at Angry Chair Brewing.
Pours like syrup
No head but then 25 % ABV. This is partially hidden and it drinks like only, say 14%.
Very thick: one of the fullest bodies I can remember.
O: wow ... just wow.

tapping that bumper since 87! .. . thanks to the brewer of angry chair for sharing! .. pours a still syrupy ruby .. lots of booze and sickly sweet molasses .. thick and boozy .. a novelty that funny enough, seems to have aged to long .. . . I bet every recipe for disaster has raisins in it. Sledutah (7977) - Utah, USA - FEB 26, 2015

Pours like motor oil, clear golden with a small beige head, some lacing. Aroma is malty, fruity and boozy. Flavors is honey, malty, fruit and sweet
Tasted during RBWG15. Clear amber color. Thin off white ring of head. Loose bits of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Light slick texture. Great potent aroma.. Mild caramel, some Belgian yeast, light spiciness. Moderate plus sweet taste, kind of drying in the finish. Moderate bitter. Some mild by the finish, nothing bothersome though especially for alcohol. Very fun stuff to try. Ferris (17098) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 25, 2015
Bottle - Apricot and stone fruit with lots of caramel and apple. Clear gold with a light beige head. Clear copper. Boozy, stone fruit, apple and sweet caramel. Sticky and viscous. Sweet, boozy, but not all that bad.
