kermis (14553) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 14, 2012
Draft at CBC. Clear amber pour with a tiny tan head. Aroma of sweet malt and ripe fruits. Sweet fruity flavour with noticeable alcohol. Thick body with some unexpected carbonation.

suprchunk (2994) - EffOff, Florida, USA - MAY 14, 2012
Dark amberish/brownish color. Off-white head with some lacing. Malty aroma. Taste is malty with some raisiny hints. Much like a 12 on crack. Not bad, but thank goodness for small samples. Might be a bit on the boozy side.

eh, sorry, nothing good to say here. haters gonna hate, nobody likes a critic, all that stuff. booze, caramel, ethanol, dates, alcohol, caramel and booze in the nose. sticky, medium body (or maybe it’s a bit thin/flabby/low-acid for it’s sugar and malt body, anyway I can describe it, it’s off-balance for my tastes). strong alcoholic apple, pear, white grape fruit notes throughout. rough, raw, green and does not suit my tastes at all.

_angst_ (5008) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 14, 2012
Sample @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Pours hazy dark golden with a small creamy goldenish white head that slowly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and fruity with sweet bread, caramel, plums, grapes, yeasty esters, overripe mango, overripe pineapple, silage, marzipan and dried apricots. Taste is very sweet with sweetened bread, caramel, pale honey, golden syrup, alcohol, toffee, marzipan, candi sugar, apricots, hay, apples, pears and hints of wood and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is intense, sticky sweet, boozy and full bodied. Finish is sweet and fruity with apricots, grapes, orange peal, apples, pears and almond milk. Too intensely sweet and boozy for me.

Pours an amber with little head. Fruity aroma. Taste is sweet with floral and fruity notes. Alcohol is well hidden. I really like this beer.

MiP (15973) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 12, 2012
Bottle. Weak caramelly aroma. Almost clear amber colour. Big stable tan head. The flavour is very caramelly. Sweet but clean. Does not taste THAT strong.

laiti (8513) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 12, 2012
Draught @ CBC ’12. Rated on 11.05.2012
Aroma is perfume-like with toffee and berries – feels like an aged tripel. Flavour is oversweet with shitloads of sugar and caramel. Some very stinging alcohol on some sips. Feels like a liquor, hard to rate as a beer.

3.2
lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 11, 2012
Draught @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012.
Pours a copper colour with a small head. Aroma of strong Belgian toffee, hay and candisugar. Very sweet flavour of Belgian toffee and shitloads of candisugar. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and an aggressive sugary finish. Reminds me of Root Beer. Way too sweet anyway.

3.3
olio (10550) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 11, 2012

Pours clear amber color with small head. Aroma of toffee, caramel malts, some spices and ripe fruits. Flavour of sweet sugar, caramel, toffee, alcohol and ripe fruits. Extremely sweet and sticky palate with a strong alcohol burn.
