Brewed for the first time on January 29th 2009. Hopverdomme aka Hopdamnit, is a very original name coined by Beejay Oslon. He was a Struise intern at that time, but launched Pipeworks Brewing Company two years ago, Chicago USA. Hopverdomme is the perfect union between hops and a Flemish curse, that should live up to the high expectations of the cursed who are drawn to drink this „damned“ hoppy ale.

gyllenbock (9328) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 6, 2013
Sample at SBWF 2013. Hazy amber with a small head. Aroma and taste of hops, grape, citrus, grass and some light malt. Very bitter. Some warming alcohol in the finish. A descent one.

oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 1, 2013
[email protected] Yellowish golden colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, floral and also has some mild toffee and sweet maltiness to it. Flavour is sweet malts, some fruity and floral notes along with a nice earthy/grassy bitterness towards the finish. Mild toffee too. Hides the abv rather well, and in fact I’ve written "rather thin palate"...

77ships (10432) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - APR 30, 2012
draft @ ACBF 2012 // head was beyond ridiculous (especially considering the ABV), Urbain was scraping it off with a spatula as he was pouring it from a pitcher // murky brown orange // smells very, very hoppy, peaches, apricots, mandarin, super concentrated pine resin,… very sweet also loads of sticky sugar (mainly candy) & fruity syrupiness,… // taste is very sweet at first (almost got a five squared flashback), fruit syrup, very fruity, candy sugar, nectar, honey, cloudberry jam,… then bam huge lasting unbalanced almost floral bitterness, huge dry pine hop finish (very, very piny – you get the 300+ IBU’s), booze, liqueur,… // syrupy body, low carb. // unbalanced, ridiculous, memorable & special

Extrem intensiv, dennoch sauber. 9/12/10/12//12

BelgBeerGeek (1307) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - MAR 25, 2012
Colour: dark amber, hazy
Smell: hops, sweet, grainy, bitter, grassy, lime
Taste: peppery, garlic in the start, taragon as well, very bitter, nice booze, lots of flavour, some fruit, end is grassy , awesome !!

bierkoning (13449) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - MAR 9, 2012
Tap @ ACBF 2012. Amber color, cloudy. Tobacco and malt in the aroma. Very sharp oily hopbitter flavor, with cigar tobacco, citrus, malt and peppermint. Dried tropical fruit. Peach pineapple. Complex, but also a palate destroyer. Extreme but quite pleasant.
