Brewed for the first time on January 29th 2009. Hopverdomme aka Hopdamnit, is a very original name coined by Beejay Oslon. He was a Struise intern at that time, but launched Pipeworks Brewing Company two years ago, Chicago USA. Hopverdomme is the perfect union between hops and a Flemish curse, that should live up to the high expectations of the cursed who are drawn to drink this damned hoppy ale.

An unclear amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and some hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops juice, alfa acid, hay, and hops, leading to a very bitter finish. Too raw.

[email protected] Yellowish golden colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, floral and also has some mild toffee and sweet maltiness to it. Flavour is sweet malts, some fruity and floral notes along with a nice earthy/grassy bitterness towards the finish. Mild toffee too. Hides the abv rather well, and in fact Ive written "rather thin palate"...

Draft courtesy of Urbain and David, thank you gentlemen! Deep golden color, large cream colored head. Aroma of pine boughs. Taste is intense resinous pine. The bitter, sticky, dry finish lasts forever! Very nice.

Konzentriert hopfiger Beginn mit grasigen und vergleichsweise geringen Bitternoten. Der Hopfen bleibt stark und kann sich kaum entbreiten. Extrem intensiv, dennoch sauber. 9/12/10/12//12

Deep amber color, good off-white head. Fresh hop leaf aroma. Medium-bodied. Very bitter fresh hoppy flavor. Extremely "fresh hoppy" experience.

On tap at Apex, pours a clear copper orange with a small white head. Aroma is herbal, with earthy hops, feet and bready notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with herbal and earthy hops - lots of feet too. Not too palatable. Surprisingly disappointing for Struise.
