33cl bottle at home. Appearance: amber with medium off-white head. Aroma: malts, grains, hay and something plastic like. Taste: medium sweetness, medium bitterness and slightly acidic. Notes of malts, grains, some white grapes and wild yeast. Palate: medium bodied, watery texture and medium carbonation. I really have no idea how anyone can rate this so high... 90 (614) - BELGIUM - AUG 3, 2017
Don’t understand the high ratings... Maybe I have to try this one again? Nice aroma with hay and yeast. Same in taste. Mediocre palate. Maarten1993 (1334) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 9, 2017
Drank during the tasting 08-07-17 (beer 1). Like all ’ambers’ not very special. Quite neutral. Has some faint softy-ness, some malt taste. Travlr (25547) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 8, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 5, 2017 Bottle courtesy of kraddel, thank you sir! Cloudy straw color, fluffy white head. Nice aroma of rising bread dough and stone fruit. Taste is funky, dusty, peppery peach, apricot. Dry finish. Nice. 8-3-8-3-15-3.7
Re-rate 6 March 2017, also courtesy of kraddel, thanks! Nice comparison. Now a gusher, just slightly hazy. Aroma is considerably less fruity. Taste still has the funk, dust and stone fruit. High carbonation affects the mouthfeel a bit. 8-3-7-3-14-3.5 Ragnampiza (751) - Rome / Lecce, ITALY - AUG 14, 2014
330 ml bottle from Les Vignerons. Slow gusher. Rich canary yellow, slightly hazy, with a small, creamy, moderately persistent white head. Plenty of straight up funk on the nose. Dusty, cellar like, slightly cheesy, bubblegum and leather. Extremely pleasent without feeling too "off". Quite fruity overall, both berries types and citrus. Surprisingly bitter, very dry, slightly acidic but not sour. Slightly sandy and definitely mineral. Malty, slightly yeasty and fruity aftertaste. Average to lively carbonation, medium body, slightly creamy texture. Very interesting beer and quite tasty as well.

THX to Kraddel! 33 cl. bottle drank @ Barely Legal Tasting Room. Now that I am no longer even remotely in competition with Kraddel for most Struise ratings, I get to try this one ;) Hazy orange, creamy white head. Smells of funk, lemon, hay, touch lambic-esque, hay, nice yeast. Tastes soapy with touch sour funk, dash lambiek, brett, wet hay, pepper, touch barn, something bit odd in the finish. Bit fizzy but very nice. Very easy to drink, this is great stuff & totally exceeded my expectations. Habanero (4773) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - MAY 3, 2014
Bottled. Pours cloudy and pale golden with an average, lacing and white head. Aroma of yeast, caramel, lemon zest, brett and citrus. Sweet flavor that ends up dry with bitter notes. Medium bodied, oily texture and average to lively carb. A lovely, funky and crisp blonde ale. SrSilliGose (3331) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - MAY 1, 2014
Bottle. Gusher! Aroma of lemon zest, white grapes. Bright pear. Bit of pinedapple. Quite effervesecent where I’m @. Old farm funk offered. Moderate wet hay bitterness. Musty. Lotta white grape. Heavy dose of old rustic farm funk. Interesting. Fun Brett character. Drinks fine. gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - APR 21, 2014
330 ml bottle at home. Pours cloudy yellow, orange hue and a thin fizzy white head. Intense yeast aroma, wet bread, malt and green hoppy characteristics. Medium body, very fine carbonation, overall on the bitter side, dry finish. Taste is citrus peel, wheat, white pepper and fresh pils malts. Easy-going beer for easy-going spring nights :-). m3rs34 (5) - Arizona, USA - MAR 21, 2014 does not count
Pours pale in color with a white head and a bit cloudy. Smells like citrus and a bit sour. Also has a smell of a saison. Taste citrus and defiantly get that sour taste on the back of your tongue. Nothing to complex, but overall a good beer. Also had good lacing to it.
