1.5 L bottle (006). Heavy gussing bottle when opened, almost half of it disappeared as foam :( Far more mellow aroma and flavour than the dangerous blond and a more dry bitterhop finish.

Straw, hazy with a huge, creamy head. The beer is very lively and the foam keeps flowing out of the bottle at least 5 minutes, even after pouring the first glasses. The aroma has notes of yeast, malt, citrus and a hint of wheat. The flavour has rather strong notes of alcohol, yeast, spice (peppery), citrus and some caramel. The finish has a nice citrussy bitterness. 2042

(Bottle 150 cl) Bottle # 003. Label claims 10% alcohol. Pours a hazy, pale golden - looks almost like a witbier. Extremely lively, the rough and dense head keeps on flowing. Fruity and fresh aroma. Solid body, but not overly so. Lightly sweet malts with only a very subdued bitterness. Almost champagne-like. I really enjoyed this a lot. 240207

My bottle claims 10% ABV! Fully hazy very straw-coloured beer; huge fluffy & creamy white head, disappearing fast leaving some lace. Very grainy/malty nose, with telltale sweet alcohol fumes. Peppery, spicey finish. Sweet taste with a little citrussy edge. Again spicey - peppery, grains of Paradise (?). Bit almondy retronasal. Very tittilating, spritzy MF, masqueing the alcohol, which is only betrayed by the warm sweetness. A very good one, and big cheers to lacheseis, who bestowed me with full 1.5 litres!

Bottle at the Kerstbierfestival 2005. Hazy yellow with a fine white head. Spicy aroma, yeasty with apples and coriander. Sweet fruity flavour with coriander taking over towards the finish. Medium body.An original blond with lots of spices.

Bottle at Kerstbierfestival 2005, Essen, Belgium
Murky, yellow body. Good, white head. Nose of citrus (orange, lime). Lightly acidic, lightly bitter initial flavour. Lightly bitter finish. I prefer the pannepot over this one.

Hunsell (403) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 19, 2005
Very muddy ochre-yellow coloured beer with a white head. Belgian Wit-nose with citrussy notes and some coriander. Sharp citrussy taste, ends rather grainy. Seems like a heavy wit to me.
