Alpha10 (774) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 18, 2017
2018/08/18 - Pours a hazy dark amber colour with a thin, soapy, off white head that quickly dissipates and leaves no lacing. Aroma is Belgian yeast, red wine, grape juice, prunes, toffee, wood and light bourbon with a hint of apple. Taste is brown sugar, toffee, raisin, apple, sherry, grape and woody bourbon. Mouthfeel is medium and oily with doting carbonation and a finish that is dry and warming. Delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours a deep mahogany, small off-white head. Aroma has a strong wine influence backed up with good dark sweet malt. Taste is a moderate to high sticky sweet character, not overly so, with some caramel, nuts, caramel-malts, warming spicy alcohol and a soft bourbon influence. St Emilion shines through a little, providing a complex, alluring but balanced complexity. Excellent BA quadrupel.

huineman (718) - Madrid, SPAIN - AUG 5, 2017
33 cl bottle at Billie’s Bier Kafétaria, Antwerp (and yes, it says all the line about the four years’ patience, and yes -it’s 33 cl and not 75.) It pours dark amberish ruby red, dark and with some long-lasting pillowy tan head. Aroma is way intense: cookies, tomato, caramel, cinnamon, red fruits. Taste is powerful, sweetish, very sour. Somewhat aggressive but balanced thanks to the right acidiy. Medium carb, low bitterness, long peristence.

phfyysik (1308) - Tartu, ESTONIA - AUG 5, 2017
Pours caramel brown with light head. Aroma is raisin, alcohol, rum, oak, some dust, light caramel, some red wine. Taste is soft, caramel, fruits, juice, some clear sugar, soft wine. Very nice and decent beer!

DraftDodger (1568) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 5, 2017
Copenhagen 9/8-2017. 33 cl bottle from Den Belgiske Ølbutik in Vanløse. Label with a double "R", the logo of De Struise and quite detailed information on the maturing process. Pours hazy amber with small white head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam. No lacing. Aroma is rich. Humid basement, cognac, brown sugar, woody and with solid whiff of boozy alcohol and some sourish notes. Soft carbonation and thick oily palate. Flavor is immensely sweet. Modest bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet caramel with strong notes of alcohol. light burning from the alcohol. Good, strong, muscular yet elegant, barrel aged motherfucker.
