VDuquerroux (1818) - Airvault, Haut-Poitou, FRANCE - OCT 3, 2017
Bottle, 33cL. 10.5%. Purchase ("", FR). Home. A beautiful mahogany amber clear beer with a medium beige head ; short retention. Caramel, dried fruity notes, alcohol, grape notes. Medium to heavy sweet, warming, light dry ; no bitter. Full body, thin oily texture, soft carbonation to flat, sweet strong lasting finish. Overall, correct ! Too sugary, not enough complex. Disappointing, I expect much more from this one (12 = 13-1).

750ml bottle - mart (6:4:5:3:11=2.9)
Sweet datey (anna: cooked raisiny) fruity aroma. Red, tiny head. Sweet body, but quite active carbonation. Porridgy raisin taste, puddingy. Massive alcohol kick on (anna: and before) swallowing - woooof! Some yeastiness, even though it's settled well. Rough. Shit, I have a bottle of a sister of this in my fridge, and I was saving it to share it with friends. Now I think I'll share it with enemies.

Juks (937) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 30, 2017
750ml bottle, thanks martjoobolut. Pours clear caramelly colour, small beige head. Aroma is sweeter side, malty, toffee, red wine. Taste of malts, raisins, some woodiness, mildly yeasty. Winey notes in finish. Boozy. Medium + bodied, average carbo. Boozy, but I kinda like it, especially aroma.

Marduk (8206) - Reval, ESTONIA - SEP 30, 2017
750ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Cloudy dark amber color. Medium size, beige head, stays. Sweet, red wine, yeasty, dusty, papery and berries in aroma. Sweet, yeasty, caramel, toffee, over ripe red grape skins in taste. Grape skins, tannin and toffee in aftertaste. Toffee and woody oaky mouthfeel. I kind of like it. Solid brew.

suurjuust (3674) - ESTONIA - SEP 30, 2017
750ml bottle shared by Mart, thanks! Coppery pour, small white head. Sweet and fruity nose, vinous, woody, bourbon, vanilla. Flavor is sweet, pretty "belgian", spice notes, alcohol, vanilla, oak. Dry finish with a lot of alcohol, woody notes. Lingering red grapes and alcohol. Not getting much wine though.

Bottle (from beergium). Pours amber with beigeish head. Aroma is sweet, malty, vanilla, booze, oak. Flavor is sweet and bitter, sugar, malt, oak, vanilla, raisins, oak. Finish is malty and boozy. Overall: very good, but boozy.

nickd717 (4822) - San Francisco, California, USA - SEP 27, 2017
Bottle pours hazy reddish amber with a large off-white head. Aroma is vinous, sweet, banana, coconut, vanilla, bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet but that's to be expected. Red wine, bourbon, spice, overripe cherry and plum. Some bitterness/tannins on the finish. Medium-full body with a high carbonation level. Good stuff.

coil (124) - Reading, Berkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 22, 2017
330ml bottle from Reddish dark amber colour with small off-white head. Big vinous fruits, dark malts, peach, apricot, apricot marmalade, stone fruits, big red wine, bourbon, wood barrel, sherry, red grape, fig, spices, light ginger, light brown sugar, light apple peel, some tannins maybe. Very nice stuff.
