On tap @ Borefts 2013. Yeah, it’s a deer dark red purple one this. It had a really big and impressive dense beige head then it cane out of the tap buy that’s all long gone now. Smells nice. A little whiff of smoke and burned matches. Light red berries also like lingonberries and a hint of old ripe gooseberries. I kinda like it. It’s quite taste. Loaded with oak vinegar but it’s not stingy at all. Not the least actually. A little bit of smoke in the taste also, bacon perhaps and dark over-ripe red berries. Old wild strawberries is the word I’m looking for here. Defrosted old ripe strawberries. Draught @ Haket. Pours deep reddish brown with a small beige head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sour and fruity with crispbread, caramel, cereal, lemon juice, lime juice, dark grapes, moist wood, moist soil and lemon peal. Taste is very tiny sweet, sour, slightly malty and tiny fruity. Mouthfeel is tiny round, slightly dry, tart and medium bodied. Finish is sour with caramel, cereal, lemon juice, lime juice, moist wood, moist hay, lightly smoked sausage, minerals and lemon zest. Reddish brown, fruity funky lightly smoked nose. Flavor is berries and oak, sour and smoke. Nice body and a very nice brew.
