nuplastikk (6453) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 7, 2012
Draft at Birreria Paradiso. Hazy amber-red, thin patchy head. Some hops in the aroma, but rather mild, with a sugary Belgian background. An interesting creature, doughy, almost watery at times, malt backbone. Some peppery, spicy hops. Rather mild compared to most other 7% IPAs, lots of bready tones, balanced. The noble hops are just a little boring for the style. OK nonetheless..but not World Class as I would’ve assumed. Mild, tame.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty weak yeasty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty yeasty hoppy bitter finish.

jackl (8423) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 25, 2012
Bottle. Hazy deep amber/brown color with a massive, gushing tan head. Some aromatic hops, caramel, soap. The taste is quite bitter, zesty, some citrus fruit. The taste is pretty front-loaded on this beer, with a soft, fruity flavor taking over after the bite in each sip dies down. The carbonation is very lively. The body’s medium. Overall, a pretty decent IPA.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2011 Bottle. 12 oz. Split with and courtesy of Vinnie. Merry Christmas. Pours deep tan with a thin, creamy off-white head. Aroma of lavander, chamomile, rosebud, honey, strawberries, soft hay, and some very subtle noble hop notes. Medium, soft body with a rather thin, bitter-hoppy mouthfeel. Finishes with a bit of grapefruit and some clean, Juicy-Fruity flavors rushing forth in the finish.

polomagnifico (1202) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - DEC 22, 2011
Bottle. Aroma has notes of flowers and citrus hops, caramel malts, a little rye spiciness and something else (almost cherry cough syrup but very very faint). Medium amber hue with an average white head that mostly diminished and left some lace. Flavor is heavy bitter and medium sweet. Palate is medium/full bodied and watery average carbonation. Overall a solid IPA with a nice twist on the style. Enjoyed it.

3.4
Ibrew2or3 (8814) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - DEC 1, 2011
33cl bottle pours up murky amber with copper hues and tall tan head. The modest aroma offers up some citrus and spicy hops as well as faint malt like notes in the background. The taste is a mix of spicy hops, mineral notes, earthy hops and then sort of a floral and spicy hop bitterness that gets a touch soapy from time to time. The level of hops is about right for the style but they lean heavily toward noble hop like bitterness with scant hop flavor to be found.

3.6
thornecb (6060) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 1, 2011
Pours deep amber into a snifter. Off-white head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Caramel, oat and resin aromas. Medium bodied with sweet caramel and tangerine upfront turning to resin in the lasting dry finish.

RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2011
bottle, beersof europe. A fair amount of sediment in the pour, leading to a hazy red-amber appearance. Yeasty flavour, but not too strong. Good carbonation, hints of dry cherry in the backgorund.
