Possible old bottle? No date marking. Nose is sherry, fruit. Flavor similar, semi-sweet, dark fruits and sherry, light bitterness at the end, no apparent aroma or flavor hops. Drinks a bit like an old ale with Belgian influence.

Bottle. BBE Dec 2015; Drank Apr 2015 - Reddish Amber in colour. Massive off-white head. Malty; toasty malts, caramel. Very Fruity; peaches, oranges. Spicy; peppery. Hoppy; grassy hops. Bittersweet fruity malty and quite dry. Decent. (2015-04-22)

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2016 As Belgobarens IPA at Belgobarens, Stockholm, Sweden, Thursday 17th November 2016 it’s taken me ages to track this down and add this rating, This was a complete contrast to my DIPA, fruity with a light bitterness, a little bit of confectionery sweetness but difficult to be exact on what I can pick up. Enjoyed it though, was good. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Aroma - is moderately malty, caramel, hopped, some citrus, and a bit of Belgian yeast. Appearance - clean orange body with a full frothy off-white head. Good lacing. Taste - bitter hops interwoven with complimentary citrus and sweet fruit. Some Belgian yeast and caramel malt. Palate - medium body, texture is oily, carbonation soft. Hopped bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2015/10/08 - Pours a clear, dark copper colour with a thick, foamy, off white head that slowly reduces and leaves no lacing. Aroma is bread, toffee, earthy hops, molasses and red grapes. Tastes is sweet bread, clove, toffee, earthy hops and slightly tannic red grape. Mouthfeel is medium and oily with mildly biting carbonation and long, drying, bitter finish that is lightly boozy and mildly warming. Not at all what I expected. Interesting and delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Belgobaren på tap. Fungerar utmärkt att dricka om och om igen. En fotbollsbira!

Bottle. Cloudy brown with some hoppiness but not as much as expected. Slightly spicy and quite gentle. Not one of their best but still pretty nice.

jamaty (2182) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUN 7, 2015

Bottle to a pint. Hazy dark amber with foamy beige head. Light malt and sweet dough aroma. Sweet bread and a bit of pine reading . Sweet dry finish. Good but very different from the American west coast style...

onceblind (9858) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 13, 2015
Hazy dark amber with a lush light beige foamy head. Gorgeous sweet yet leafy bitter aroma featuring candi sugar and caramelised wheat, but also leafy earthy hop resins and a touch of red grape. The flavor starts a bit soft and earthy but a bit if orange rind hoppiness starts to come through near the finish with a touch of caramel and dark sweet wheat. A touch boozy and earthy bitter but quite enjoyable.
