TAste: Sweet, vanilla, wood bourbon like with some esters and yeast and a hint of oranges as a left over from the original triple part.

Very nice brew, allthough it’s taste pattern is very dominated by the barrel allthough it does work out nicely. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 24, 2014
Tap @ BeerMongers Christmas Eve Eve event... Poured dark brown with a retaining head. A little darker then a typical tripel. Nice esters and yeast spices on the nose. Sweet and malty with a mild alcohol presence. Bright earthy tones worked to tame the strong oak sweet notes in this one. A little drying in the end too to help balance it out. mike_77 (6876) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - NOV 24, 2014
Light brown colour. Malty aroma with hints of whiskey. Low carbonation. Warming, sweet, whiskey malt taste. olio (10408) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 11, 2014

Pours dark golden color with a large head. Sweet caramel and toffee on the nose, some bourbon notes, faint vanilla and some sweet malts, maybe some molasses also. Sweet caramel on the flavor also, wood, toffee, faint yeast and bourbon. Slightly harsh bitter palate, some sourish notes on the finish. Very interesting and tasty.

Vintage 2012, ” Tangerine Heated Rare Evil Edition”
Aroma has hay, rye and some sweet bourbon notes. Flavour has licorice, anise, woody notes, sweet bourbon tones, vanilla and caramel. Also some alcohol. Only faint traces of tripel in form of soapiness. Too sweet and sticky.
750 ml bottle. 2012 vintage. Pours a dark amber copper colour with a foamy white head. Aroma of rich juicy apricot, wood and some berries. Flavour of sweet apricot, sweet strong bourbon notes, apricot and some alcohol. Full bodied. Thick mouthfeel with a smooth, dry, wooden, bourbon-y finish. Really well balanced. It’s sweet but I like it. tiong (7433) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 11, 2014
