StilleStorm (1528) - Stavanger, NORWAY - NOV 14, 2015
DWF; Bottle, branded 2013, from Ambolten. Pours large, hazy cobber with a tan, frothy, lasting and lacing head. Nose is moderate to heavy, malt, caramel, spice, sweet citrus fruit, ripe plums, yeast and spice. Taste is medium sweet and bitter, balancing with a lasting sweet vinious, spice, warming finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily to creamy, carbonation is soft. Ai..

Bottle at Cafe Rose Red, 29th October 15. Pours dark, slightly murky, aroma is rich, fruit cake, some vinous notes. Taste is deep, sweet, but balanced, raisin, fig, vinous undertones. Delicious and easy to drink.

wiosna (591) - - OCT 29, 2015
0, 33 l pullo @ Werkmeister’s place. Sameahko kullanruskea. Tuoksussa punaista hedelmää, luumua, mausteita, pehmeää tummaa mallasta. Maussa samaa kuin tuoksussa.

Saeglopur (2173) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - OCT 29, 2015
330 ml bottle shared by Werckmeister, thanks!
Deep copper, hazy body, with a quite small, frothy, beige head.
Aroma of barrel, dried and ripe fruits, caramel, wine
Taste follows this, with some more spicy notes.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes wooden, spicy, sweet malty, a bit fruity.

Nice one, but a bit underwhelming maybe. Not very complex in my opinion. Still well balanced, with nice barrel and dried fruit notes. Overall not among my favourite beers from de Struise.

TBone (17528) - Pori, FINLAND - OCT 29, 2015
Bottle 330ml (from BBF, vintage 2013)
Deep amber color, steady small beige head. Toasted sugar, cardboard, light sherryish aroma. Medium-bodied, active carbonation (which is not nice). Cane sugar is there even honey, portwine is there with light spiceyness (clove, cinnamon) and some alcohol. Fruity Belgian yeast. Ok.

Pailhead (6539) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - OCT 25, 2015
Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate caramel apple, candi sugar, banana, and a touch of spices. It pours a dark hazy brownish-orange with a one finger off-white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. The flavor starts with light fruit, banana, candi sugar, and a touch of caramel. The finish has light-moderate sweet apple with a touch of spice. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation.

alteregoo (1442) - Kalisz, POLAND - OCT 24, 2015
Piana średnia, szybko opadająca do pierzynki. Barwa bursztynowa, lekko mętna, piwo ładnie "pracuje" w szkle. Aromat raczej słodki, czuć wpływ beczki po Porto, są nuty wanilii, słodkiego wina, kandyzowanych owoców, rodzynek, fig i brzoskwiń. W smaku półsłodkie, prym wiedzie tu domowe wino z rodzynek w towarzystwie owoców kandyzowanych, daktyli, karmelu i syropu klonowego. Całości dopełnia niewielka pestkowo ziołowa goryczka. Nagazowanie wysokie, drobne, szampańskie. Alkohol całkiem nieźle ukryty, rozgrzewający dopiero w żołądku. Porto i cierpka dębina w afterteasie.
