Amber body. Off-white creamy head. Aroma of alcohol (unpleasant), grapes, caramel. Moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Very complex and warming mouthfeel. Well balanced. Marduk (7694) - Reval, ESTONIA - MAR 21, 2015
330ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Clear amber color. Medium size, white head, stays. Caramel, malty, alcohol, raisins in aroma. Sweet, malty, bit of dead yeast, candy cane, straw, woody in taste. Sweet plums in aftertaste. Damn it’s sweet. Carbonation is bit too high too. Boozy brew! FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 20, 2015

Softish sweet aroma, some gentle marzipan, a little bit of rubber and plastic. Orange, tight head. More wine than port influenced to me in the taste. Sweetish, candisugar clear. Thinned by the barrel ageing, but I prefer the heavier original for a relaxing sipper. Finish has a gentle bitter hopping, which is possibly the best bit about it. This is not a fireside sipper.
Copper orange beer, off-white head. Nose is sugary, vinous notes, malt, fruit, caramel, wood. Flavor is a smooth mix of fruit, caramel, malt. Pretty boozy finish, caramel. Port is felt rather than tasted. Nice. Shared by martjoobolut, thanks! fletchfighters (1527) - AUSTRALIA - MAR 20, 2015
330 ML bottle
Dark orange amber color. Off white head, falls to a thick collar. Good retention though.
Nose is soft oak, port, orange peel, white grape, and candied sugar.
Taste is candied sugar, banana, clove, orange peel, caramel, bubble gum, grape. Well integrated.
Medium bodied, light carbonation, slightly coying in the end. Just flashes of port and barrel. Great beer

It poured an amber color with a white head. The aroma was of candied sugar some dried fruits and a hint of orange peel. The taste was similar to the aroma with booze, caramel and some woodiness. Nice. hackobock (4029) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 7, 2015

Hazy amber with a medium sized frothy white head. Aroma is sweet sugary, pear, peach, alcohol, some caramel and port. Taste is sweet malty, plums, peach, light bitter and some vinous and dried fruit notes in the finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation.
Really nice strong belgian ale. Dark amber color with thick white head. A really nice and complex suttle aroma of dough and banana among many other things. Yummy taste with plenty of sweetness but a great deal of bitterness and sourness to ballance it out. Lots of taste.
