Bottled. An unclear dark brown beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of yeast, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of wood, brettanomyces, roasted malt, and lemons, leading to a tart finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Draught at SBWF. Hazy mahogany colour, mid sized head. Mild vinous tart nose. Near full bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Acetic with some white pepper. Lemon, wood and red wine dominates. Lovely beer, but the Reserva is even better.

20th January 2013
Very dark red - brown beer. Short lived pale tan head. Palate is dry and crisp. Sour, but not overly so. It’s notably Flanders Red sour, the tangy red wine barrel adds to it but it’s then rounded off by the oak and mildly sweet bourbon. Well buried chocolate. Dry finish. Somehow isn’t quite as good as it looks on paper but certainly tasty.
