Tasting at Bruce’s Pad. Thanks to Paul for this one. Lightly hazy gold beer with good size yellow white head. Palate is light and and slightly crisp. Little dry seltzer. Touches of cream and vanilla. Super light bourbon and citrus. Comes together well for a light dry finish. Interestingly light BA beer.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2013 Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London - many thanks to Paul. Pours hazy yellow with a moderate, frothy white head; looks great. Pleasant aroma, some citrus, grapefruit, melon, mild funk. Light sweet flavor, very nice citrus, tangerine, lemon, faint hay and white bread. Light bodied with fine, caressing carbonation. Lovely finish, mild tangy lemon, pale bread, very slight funk. Excellent beer. Nice balance. Very drinkable.

Bottle shared at my 5K tasting at Bruce’s pad, thanks to Paolo for this one, 13/11/13. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a moderate off white covering that thins to a swirl. Nose is straw, dank wood, lemon rind, very subtle lick of bourbon. Taste comprises lemon dipped straw, earthy, tarte citric fruits, sour dough bread, bitter orange, fain bourbon tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp finale. Ok stuff, very drinkable but not as much depth as I was expecting.

Bottled 750ml (PBF IX)
Slightly hazy yellow color, small white head. Slightly tart, citrusy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Very fruity but same time dry flavor. Citrus, light barnyard, some sweetish notes. Slick palate. I can’t trace much of bourbon here but interesting it is.

Bottle, 75cl, at RBNG-14 Grand Tasting. A whiteish golden beer topped by a dense, off-white head. The aroma has a nice citrusy sourness, with citrus, some maltyness and a touch of dried apricots. Farmhouse notes. The flavor has a nice sourness and fruityness, with some farmyard hints. Some pale malts in the back. Rather berry-ish. Full to medium body with a pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish. An easy drinkable and tasteful one, but I won’t go far to have it again. 140215

Sampled from bottle @ RBBSG II. Clear yellow color, virtually no head. Aroma is weird, it’s just like sour and sweet even eachother out. Same with the flavor. I like this better than the original Struiselensis because I’m generally not really into sour beers. Hmm not a success imo.
