pivnizub (10811) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - JUN 1, 2009
Bottle (Thanx to the Lake of Constance!): Golden, a bit unclear with a greenish shenn; medium white head with a nice lace; light aroma of pale malt, distinctive nose of herbal, aromatic - almost piney - hops; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; lingering aromatic, light dryish hoppy finish. Superb ! Can’t believe, that this perfectly crafted Pilsener was made by a giant brewery.........

MoritzF (10095) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - APR 6, 2009
(bottle) Clear, greenish golden colour with a big foamy white head. Light-sweet malty aroma with a surprisingly aromatic and citrus-fruity, slightly herbal hoppy touch. Mild bitter flavour, light bodied but not watery, crispy mouthfeel. Soft malty base with herbal hops from the beginning, leading into a dry and aromatic hoppy finish. A pleasant surprise, big thanks to Quack-Duck (02.IV.09).

Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 7, 2009
bottle. Clear yellow colour, large white head, aroma of ’green’ hops. Medium-bodied with a good malty background and some really nice resiny grassy hop flavours. A pleasant surprise.

ComradeK (1259) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JAN 12, 2009
Bottle at Stern Kebap, Stuttgart. As the local brew, I figured it would be worth a try. Not strictly speaking true. The initial bitterness is strong and the carbonation mild, with a crisp finish. It looks good, yet there is an odd taste and it is far too sticky on the palate. All in all it is a reasonable easy drinking beer, but don’t bother going all the way to Stuttgart for it.

ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 20, 2008
Szalma sárga színű,közepes állagú és kitartású habbal rendelkező sör.Kellemes virágos, komlós illata van.Íze is komlós,kesernyés és picit csípős.Kitölti a szájat.Utóíze is keserű,száraz és hosszan tartó.Nem "nőies" ital, remek kis pils!

shrubber85 (11618) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAY 21, 2008
Bottle. Creamy barley malt and light grassy hops aroma. Medium yellow with small head. Creamy barley malt flavor with a moderate grass hops finish. Very nice.

The bottle looks really noble. The beer in the glass is okay. Fine aroma. Tastes modest spicy, very drinkable - good beer.

TBone (18227) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 28, 2007
Bottled (BB 01/2008)
Pale yellow color, white head, nice lacing. Grassy hops and suprisingly barnyardish notes in the aroma. Medium-bodied. Aggressive hopping. Cut grass flavor which is quite bitter in the aftertaste. Stylish example of good German pils.

rudolf (2360) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUN 17, 2007
Clear light yellow, very strong head. Nose is light sundried malt, slight lemon hop. Flavor is again sun dried malt, slight lemon w. a hint of sweetness. A bit of nuttiness or biscuit in the finish.

This is the best lager beer on the planet. It is the best German light beer made. I drank gallons of the stuff when I worked at Mercedes Benz, Stuttgart, in the early 1980’s.
