ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 20, 2008
Kitölti a szájat.

ComradeK (1236) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JAN 12, 2009
Bottle at Stern Kebap, Stuttgart. As the local brew, I figured it would be worth a try. Not strictly speaking true. The initial bitterness is strong and the carbonation mild, with a crisp finish. It looks good, yet there is an odd taste and it is far too sticky on the palate. All in all it is a reasonable easy drinking beer, but don’t bother going all the way to Stuttgart for it.

Quinten (1062) - zaandam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 19, 2006
golden color, first foamy,.but no lasing head, nice grainy an with some hops.

Slautar (646) - Gdañsk, POLAND - AUG 6, 2015
Ojciec właśnie wrócił z Niemiec i przywiózł trochę piwek. Herrenpils jest piwem niemal bezzapachowym. W smaku niemal klasycznie (korporacyjnie) neutralne, z przewagą słodu nad średnią goryczką. Nieco wodniste.

beeracoon (511) - - FEB 8, 2013
Clear golden colour. Spicy aroma and taste with a lightly bitter, likewise spicy aftertaste. Good average.

Beerbarella (348) - - FEB 8, 2013
500 ml bottle. Typical pilsener aroma and taste. A tad on the bitter side. Fruity, mildly bitter palate. Not bad.

666seth (229) - California, USA - JAN 14, 2003
In my opinion this one is the KING of Pilsners. Clear golden in color with nice white head. Slightly malty aroma with hints of hops. Has a nice and very strong bitterness to it with a nice spicy/floral flavor. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

yeasty (1) - Moneyrea, NORTHERN IRELAND - NOV 27, 2006 does not count
This is the best lager beer on the planet. It is the best German light beer made. I drank gallons of the stuff when I worked at Mercedes Benz, Stuttgart, in the early 1980’s.
