In my opinion this one is the KING of Pilsners. Clear golden in color with nice white head. Slightly malty aroma with hints of hops. Has a nice and very strong bitterness to it with a nice spicy/floral flavor. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!!! yeasty (1) - Moneyrea, NORTHERN IRELAND - NOV 27, 2006 does not count
This is the best lager beer on the planet. It is the best German light beer made. I drank gallons of the stuff when I worked at Mercedes Benz, Stuttgart, in the early 1980’s. Geiserich (4531) - Linz, AUSTRIA - FEB 25, 2004
Golden color, soft carbonated, head without lace. Aroma is light metallic and hoppy, but i miss some aroma hope notes. Fruity and aromatic flavor, some malts, medium bitter. A very nice pils. ogivlado (7856) - Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 22, 2004

Quite pale yellow, great white head dies after some time to a small ring. Classic sharp hay aroma, one dimensional but wonderful. Flavor is moderately-to-highly bitter, with just a touch of sweetness (bread, white sugar). Herbal, leafy green bitterness, along with pepper. Very slightly sticky palate. Great pils from Quack-Duck, thanks! fonefan (49551) - VestJylland, DENMARK - NOV 5, 2012

Bottle 500ml. @ home.
Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy and open, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, pale malt, moderate to light heavy hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, crisp hops, hoppy, grassy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
(bottle) Clear, greenish golden colour with a big foamy white head. Light-sweet malty aroma with a surprisingly aromatic and citrus-fruity, slightly herbal hoppy touch. Mild bitter flavour, light bodied but not watery, crispy mouthfeel. Soft malty base with herbal hops from the beginning, leading into a dry and aromatic hoppy finish. A pleasant surprise, big thanks to Quack-Duck (02.IV.09). pivnizub (10662) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUN 1, 2009
Bottle (Thanx to the Lake of Constance!): Golden, a bit unclear with a greenish shenn; medium white head with a nice lace; light aroma of pale malt, distinctive nose of herbal, aromatic - almost piney - hops; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; lingering aromatic, light dryish hoppy finish. Superb ! Can’t believe, that this perfectly crafted Pilsener was made by a giant brewery......... Cuso (8717) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - DEC 17, 2011
On tap at pub in Stuttgart. Dark golden color with huge long lasting white head. Aroma of malt, grain, with fruity hints. Taste, surprisingly bitter, with malty hints. Nice long bitter finish. Surprisingly good.
