vipinvelp (4540) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - MAR 19, 2016
While waiting for my train from can. In that circumstance acceptable. Just a regular German pilsener - OK. (Karlsruhe 201603)

bartlebier (4123) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAR 11, 2014
33cl bottle bb07/2014, Edeka Olgastrasse. Revisiting this +3 years after my last regular encounters with this everywhere in D-0711. Your typical once-regional, now Radeberger-owned standard Pilsner: straw, dry grains, just enough hops (no extract in this case: bonus point) to elevate it above lager/Helles level. Finishes on a surprising mineral and old lemon note, indeed McTapps. With Hofbräu there always was this metallic and stale quality that made it 2nd choice, even in my swilling days.

nihtila (3912) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 10, 2015
Bottle from supermarket in Germany. Clear pale, hay, cereal and malt aromas. Tastes cereal, malts, citrus, grass. Quite fizzy.

KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - JUN 4, 2005
Pours a nice pale gold. Hints of hops and malt abound, as well as a touch of grassiness. Light, refreshing, and good on a warm day.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 13, 2008
Golden colored with lively carbonation. Medium sized white head. Sweet and slightly buttery aroma with softly hopped note. Medium bodied. Flavor is somehow metallic with dry hops, mild butter and fruits also here. Dry butter lasts in aftertaste.

asheft (3108) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 2, 2008
[bottle] Aroma is loaded with fresh noble hops as well as sweet, base malt. Lemon and caramel notes. Clear straw with bubbly white cover. Pleasant hops flavour and bitterness that are well balanced, but nothing extraordinary. A bit too bitter for the pleasant but subtle malt flavour--even some ethanol notes. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, lasting nutty bitter finish.

2.6
ruigo (3080) - PORTUGAL - OCT 26, 2015
50cl bottle. Clear golden colour with a nice white head. Grassy, malty and hoppy aroma. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is lightly bitter with some metallic notes. Overall, drinkable.

Couleur dorée assez claire, bonne mousse blanche. Nez malté et notes douces. Gout malté avec forte amertume houblonnée et notes douces citronnées. Bien buvable.
