FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 26, 2016
Tap (Sudstern, Berlin)
Sweet malts in the aroma, but it’s messy. Reddy orange, brief head. Palate quite thin and carbonation quite high. Tastes a bit dodgy, some sourness kicking in, but behind that sweet caramel. Vegetal aspefcts too. Can actually taste the carbonic acid, it’s accentuated by the sourish aspects. Either a bad dunkel, or one in very bad shape.

Marduk (7694) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUN 3, 2016
Tap (Brauhaus Südstern, Berlin). Cloudy chestnut color. Small size, off-white head, stays. Sourish, fruity, berries, sweet, caramel and farty in aroma. Sourish, nutty, currant in taste. Caramel, currant and some hops in aftertaste. Hmmm...

Dunkler, süßlich malziger Antrunk. Würzig, rund. Weich malziger Mittelteil mit trockenem Hintergrund. Würziger, dezent schokoladiger Nachgeschmack. 11/9/10/10//10

Dark bworn body with a persistent small white head. Malty and ripe fruit aroma. Taste is quite bitter, dark coffee, a bit yeasty. Body is a bit watery with a lovely carbonation,

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 10, 2012
The head is robust, the body brown-red. It smells darkmalty, different fruits, full bodied, fruity, malty, a bit coffee. Tastes darkmalty, a bit caramel, spicy. Overall good! 12/12/13/12/-/12

ganache (5903) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 21, 2012
Tap, a cloudy chestnut with a beehive tan head. Sweet and malty nose, watery body, quite yeasty, nice roast and light chocolate, a textbook if overly skinny Dunkel.

Leighton (21255) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2012
Tap at the brewpub, Berlin. Pours very cloudy brown with a creamy, white head. Mild toasted malt nose. Flavor is mediocre. Lightly sweet with faint booze and very little toast or caramel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mellow finish with very faint toasty malts. Not much else. A bit watery.
