COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Jay Prahl, masterbrewer at Sudwerk and a UC Davis alumnus, describes Aggie Lager as "a rich golden lager, complex and artfully balanced and reminiscent of Bavaria’s most popular style -- the Munchener helles or the Munich light lager." The 100 percent malted beer is mildly hoppy, crisp and clean, he said.

Fits the Helles style well. Clear golden with no head. Clean bready flavor slightly sweet leaving no after taste

Tap at the brewpub. Pours dark gold with a creamy white head. Light bready aroma (they serve it really cold). Med body. Flavor is bready with a nice amount of noble hop. Drinks easy; probably good with most food.
