The beer is a light orangey tannish color. The first pour was a bit cloudy, while the second was more so. Smallish white head, sorta fizzy. Bubbles dissipate after a minute and leave no lacing. The aroma has one of the best strawberry flavors that Iíve found in a beer. Itís bright, sweet and smooth with no harsh acidity. Some peachy, apricoty flavor with some tropical action knocking about. Mango, guava, papaya. Light but nice funk. Some yogurty lacto flavor. A little bit of oak. The taste has a very pleasant light to medium tart character. More lacto flavor. Lots of berries. Fairly oaky. Solid vinous flavor. Some funk, particularly in the finish. Itís cleanly sweet up front but dries out completely in the finish. Light pucker. Light mouthfeel. Really nice beer. Iíd love to see Sudwerk make more of this beer and similar stuff.

Bottle thanks to the brewer! Pours cloudy cream soda, fizzy white head that dissipates pretty quickly leaving some lacing. Aroma is funky, Brett, fruity, lemon. Flavor is light tart, a bit funky, strawberries and cream, a bit earthy, lots of mineral water. Lightish body, super clean, perhaps a bit uncomplicated.

Waxed bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Cap popped, strawberry is in the air. The aroma also slightly bretty. Med body or so. Itís fairly sour, fruity, and stawberrys seem to be staying the course. There does seem to be citrus, and the brett is not super strong. Yet it rather fits as a sour, bretty ale. Tho the strawberry seems to come and go, it does stay to the finish. Rather refined sour/wild.

Poured from a 500 ml bottle. Aroma has a really nice fruitiness to it with a bit of an oak note. Light strawberry and tropical fruit with a hint of cherry. Faint malt notes add a nice dimension to the beer. A hint of acidity. Pours a hazy, golden straw color with a small, fairly thin, white head that recedes to the edges where it lingers for a bit. Flavor has a medium light acidity with a nice lactic character and a touch of acetic acid. Light oak tannins with a bit of oak character. Medium light fruitiness, tropical and strawberry, but the strawberry doesnít dominate. Light citrus and faint cherry. Low bitterness. Mouth feel is medium light bodied and slightly watery. Low astringency and and low alcohol warmth. Overall, the aroma is awesome and the flavor nice, but the finish is a bit thin. A much better beer than I expect from Sudwerks. Great fruit notes even if the strawberry isnít too noticeable.
