Bottle from Whole Foods in Redwood City, CA. Flowery, maybe Orange Blossoms and wheat-y. Definitely not my favorite style but this was floral and fruity.

On tap at Sacramento Brewing. This cloudy yellow beer poured with a thin white head and a flowery wheat aroma. The wheat base is tasty and there is a fair amount of hop bitterness with some banana ester.

Oscbert (1296) - Lincoln, California, USA - FEB 11, 2016
Strong banana clove vanilla and bready aroma Pours a hazy golden color with white frothy head that starts to disappear Clove and banana flavor with bready malts. A bit heavy on clove for me Medium light bodied with medium high co2, lingering clove spice finish Not one of my favorite Bavarian style hefes. Yeasty clove phenol is a bit too overpowering for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fresh with an intensive lemon taste. Doesn’t look like a real Hefeweizen though: not enough fermentation, i.e. froth. And also not tasting yeasty enough, imho.

BeerdedDave (1676) - Beckley, USA - APR 9, 2015
on tap in San Francisco; cloudy amber color; mild banana-clove aroma and flavor; light citrisu notes; very light bodied and weakly flavored

Keg at Underbelly, SD, 15/11/14. Hazed golden orange with a well appointed off white head. Nose is spice, light tropical fruit notes, apricot, straw. Taste comprises tangy apricot, yeast esters, clove, tangerine, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Nice refreshing beer but not really true to the style as I know it, fair dose of hops and a big tropical fruit infusion, tasty.
