12oz bottle. Good pour, reddish-amber color and light haymarket aroma. Slight head fades, decently strong carbonation. Slightly burnt taste, traditional. Great body, full but not overpowering, easy to drink, a great tribute to the style, which I love! Onionkid (390) - Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA - AUG 24, 2012
Bottle. Caramel in the aroma. Malty to the taste with some spice and caramel. Very tasty but not too striking. Bit hoppy at the end. Idiosynkrasie (8195) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - AUG 6, 2012
355ml bottle. Slightly cloudy amber colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lacing, off-white head. Intense caramel malty aroma, bread and biscuit notes. Taste is caramel malty with some hay and a minimal spicy touch. Lively carbonation brings freshness. brooer (2) - - JUL 28, 2012 does not count
Clean Malty nose, clear slightly amber color. Rich smooth mouth feel with a pleasing Malty taste and a hint of hops in the finish. Overall clean dry and crisp. Koskela (505) - Marysville, California, USA - JUL 20, 2012
Aroma is sweet its a clear light amber color typical color for a marzen style beer. Its not as sweet as most ive tried its slightly bitter and get a bet of a yeast flavor but in a good way. Its not as full bodied as most ive tasted but a good medium mouth feel. Overall not as sweet or fullbodied as most but very respectable brew. Worth a buy

Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, toasted - caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, malty, riped fruit notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Draft at Whole Foods Coddingtown. Pours a brilliant, orange-amber color; fine-bubbled white head with solid lacing. Basic, crisp aroma of grape nuts and restrained sweetness. Modest earthy hopping, a crisp and well-attenuated Vienna-like malt character, and a vibrant presence in the mouth overall. Solid marzen. Medium-length finish of toastiness, lightly earthy. thetmaxx (927) - West Sacramento, California, USA - FEB 24, 2012
On cask at sudwerk for beer week. Served warm, weird.. Aroma is caramel malty. Flavor is good, sweet andmalty. What I like about it on cask us that it didn’t have any lager type character, very low csrbonation. Delicious! Look forward to more cask beers. gunnar (9920) - Sandnes, NORWAY - FEB 17, 2012

Smooth, malty with a bit of sweetness and a bready, earthy quality. Finish tapers off with a hint of hops. Nicely balanced.
