On tap @ Churchill’s. Slightly hazed amber pour with a thin layer of off-white foam. Smells like strawberry jam, raspberry, and red wine. Slightly acetic and an overall enjoyable tartness. Mildly funky as well. The flavor has a good fruity sweetness and tons of berry jam. Sour red wine vinegar, some fruit leather, and a bit of lemon juice. Lots of lemon, dark fruits, and oak. Nice stuff. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 9, 2015

>> Hazy amber red pour with weak foam. Nose is saltwater, cranberry, red wine, mineral/slate. Taste is solid oud bruin: salt brine, red wine barrel, cranberry, leathery dark fruit, huge lemon/citric acid. Lighter bodied, minerally bite. Clean, simple dark sour that could use a little fresh beer reblended to even out the sourness.
Tap at Churchill’s Pub. Pours clear tawny with a small, fizzy off-white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is acetic cherries, plastic phenols and earthy hops. Flavor is acetic cherries, vinous notes, light earthy hops and bitterness, phenols, sweet malt and a dry finish. Medium body and light carbonation. On draft at Churchill’s. Dark reddish brown pour, with an off white head. Sour fruit, berry, oak, balsamic vinegar, notes of prune, dark cherry, and some malty sweetness. Nice beer.
