Crisp....really crisp. A common claim for pilsners so I guess that is the desirable feature, and this one overachieves at that. Overall, it is a a lot better than macro lager. The ugly nuttyness that dances with Saccharomyces pastorianus is on full display. Sudwerk brews up some good stuff, but they make styles that are not my favorite. So "great for style" is final verdict. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 19, 2011
12oz. Bottle: Aroma of grain, corn, and a hint of hops. Poured pale yellow in color with a small, white head that lasted throughout. Slightly hazy. Sparkling. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of grain, corn, and some hops. Light body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt and hop finish is lightly bitter. slowrunner77 (12581) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 5, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 14, 2017 "a pretty decent example of the style, but definitely not a standout. had a SA Noble Pils later in the same day that i first tried this, and SA blows it away. Clean and crisp, with a nice slight malt character and a touch of hops. bubbly, but little to no head. decent."

Bottle. Poured with a half finger head. Body is a very clear, almost watery yellow color. Nice bitter flavor, tastes very average for the style. Easily notable bubbly flavor, over carbonated? I think so. timfoolery (1126) - California, USA - DEC 21, 2007
On tap. Not very impressive as far as body or flavor. This brew was lightly carbinated and very smooth. It was ok.

(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of mustiness, soap, grass, and florals. Flavor of soap, grain, and grass with a bitter finish. Panzuriel (2333) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - AUG 21, 2002
Acrid aroma. Mellow taste with a bit of the back of the mouth bitters. ... Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - JAN 10, 2005
Bright gold; decent head. A little lighter than the helles. Creamy body with a lively carbonation. Dry and grainy malts with very little sweetness. Decent amount of bitterness, but aromas weren’t the greatest ... and what was there was mild. Bitter flowers and some grass in the finish. Nikiel (879) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 5, 2010
Pours a piss yellow with very quickly dispersing foam. Tastes crisp with an aftertaste of urine... Ernest (7787) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 30, 2017
Bottle at Sunset Beer (17178 stamped...178th day of 2017? end of May?). Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light to medium yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (grain, dog food, wort), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a light note of soap. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Could be a bit old at this point, but the malt seems really clunky/raw. A total dumper.
