12oz bottle purchased at the brewery. Pale straw color with a lasting, fluffy head. The aroma has lots of floral and spicy hops, with fresh dough as well. The flavor is first and foremost bitter. Lean and dry in the malt department; the spicy, herbal hops dominate. A nice German style pilsner; lean and hoppy. Super refreshing on a hot day, but the lack of malt robustness lets you down a little when you want some more substance to chew on. nickd717 (4996) - San Francisco, California, USA - APR 30, 2010
12oz bottle from Whole Foods Los Altos. Pours a really damn pale straw color with a one-finger white head and good lacing. Aroma is grassy hops, pale malt, and some graininess. Very nice. Flavor is good but just a little buttery. Pale malt and grains with a nice hop bite which is very grassy and a little floral. Crisp on the palate with medium-light body and some real hop bitterness. This isn’t a favorite of mine overall, but for the style it’s very solid. Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - FEB 6, 2011
On tap at Beachwood BBQ. Pours clear gold with a 2 finger white head. The nose is pilz spice and grassy hops. The taste is the same with a nice spicy hop finish. Medium bodied. marcus (10865) - Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 29, 2013

On tap at the Rubicon. Pours clear yellow with a thin white head and a standard pilsener aroma. There is a substantial light malt base with a clean lager flavor and subtle tasty hopping. Not bad for a pilsener.
Clear sun bleached straw yellow. The hop is so light the malt sticks out, it mellows but the flavor lasts. It has a slight bitter.

Pours light clear yellow with smaller white head. The aroma has pale pils malt, spicy hops, light herbs and touch of dough. It has a light crisp body with fairly sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with cry malt, bright minty hops, grass, minerals and crackery malt. The finish is fairly astringent. Pretty good. Bif (2390) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - SEP 16, 2015

Very light aroma. Seems a bit fishy, but that makes no sense. LIght brassy color with a white head that tries to lace. Medium bodied, the carbonation renders it a bit chewy, and the hop is appropriate for a pilsener. The finish is lightly bitter, and not so dry as might be desireable. Pilsener it is, but Pilsener Urquell it is not. Decent brew.
Draft as part of a flight at Sudwerk in Davis, CA. Clear straw yellow with off-white head. Aromas of light skunk, corn, wheat. Tastes of pears, citrus, wheat. Medium-light body with a dry finish.
