Draft as part of a flight at Sudwerk in Davis, CA. Clear straw yellow with off-white head. Aromas of light skunk, corn, wheat. Tastes of pears, citrus, wheat. Medium-light body with a dry finish. krumbum (1109) - truckee, California, USA - MAY 2, 2014
Clear sun bleached straw yellow. The hop is so light the malt sticks out, it mellows but the flavor lasts. It has a slight bitter. Atom (2558) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 1, 2014
12oz bottle via secret Santa pours a clear golden/yellow with a medium white head. Subdued aroma of malt and grain, with grassy hops. Taste is clean, but like the aroma nothing really pops here. It’s well balanced and very drinkable, a very decent Pilsner, however lacks brightness and crispness joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 1, 2014
12 oz. bottle. It pours a very effervescent clear yellow color with a disappearing white head. The aroma is very floral and minerally. The flavor is the same with a nice noble hop presence and a clean palate. A little bit of aspirin in the finish that throws it a bit off for me. I’m not sure if this is the new version of their old Pilsner, but I liked the previous one better. Chadski4 (170) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JAN 16, 2014

Pours golden yellow with a nice white head. The aroma is bready/grainy with some sweet corn and some grassy, noble hops. The flavor is pretty big with a full body and some bread and corn. Strong noble hop presence offsets the sweetness. The finish is nice with some earthy bitterness and a touch of sulfer. Overall, a nice flavorful pils that’s just a little too sweet for my tastes.
Rather enjoyed this. Nice straw color. Expected bready malts in the aroma and taste but also with a slight bit of citrus hops

On tap at the Rubicon. Pours clear yellow with a thin white head and a standard pilsener aroma. There is a substantial light malt base with a clean lager flavor and subtle tasty hopping. Not bad for a pilsener.
Bottle at the Yolo Beer Fest. Pours pale gold with a white head. Iight citrusy aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is bready with light noble hop. Finishes decently bitter.DavidWoodruff (630) - Windsor, California, USA - AUG 30, 2013

Very light aroma. Seems a bit fishy, but that makes no sense. LIght brassy color with a white head that tries to lace. Medium bodied, the carbonation renders it a bit chewy, and the hop is appropriate for a pilsener. The finish is lightly bitter, and not so dry as might be desireable. Pilsener it is, but Pilsener Urquell it is not. Decent brew.
Pale gold with no head. Aroma of lemon drops. Dry malty with mild hop bitterness. Finish is dry and malty. Crisp, clean and not particularly interesting. monk191 (2023) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 20, 2013
A pretty boring pilsner. Pours a clear yellow. No smell, and not much taste either. A little spicy. Boring. Had at tap at the Bay Area Craft Beer Festival.

Clear golden pour with a finger of white head. Sweet and grainy nose, but some decent malt aroma of bread and dough. Light floral and spicy hops, yeast, and a touch of grass. The flavor is a bit simple and sweet. Quite grainy. As with the nose, some malt flavor and body. Very lightly hopped with just a light floral quality. No real bitterness, some mild apple esters, and a little grass on the finish.
