A very respectable pilsener. Well hopped, but not overly so. Decent. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - JAN 18, 2003
Gold color. Small head. Aroma is malty. A medium bodied pilsner. Fresh and clean. Nice spicy hops, with a mild malt backbone. Pilsner are not one of my favorite styles, but this one is very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. aspidites (1272) - manteca, California, USA - MAR 11, 2005
The best german style pils around. Soft honeyed malt with a touch of hay. Very clean hop bitterness with a lite nose of grass and honeydew. Nice hop nose clean and soft dry finish. theisti (4126) - Kansas, USA - JUN 6, 2011
12 oz bottle purchased at the Pizza Port bottle shop in Carlsbad, California. Pour is a clear light yellow soft golden with a 1 1/2 inch pure white head. The head falls with thick bubbles. Aroma is fresh cereal grain, along with light floral and nice grass in the back. Taste is cracked cereal grain, followed close behind by the floral grassiness, which has some sharpness to it. Finishes with earthy mineral floral yeast. Palate is light bodied, though has a nice less filtered weight to it. Dry clean gypsum finish. Nice clean easy drinking Pils. Tap, Napa Valley Burger Co.,Sausalito, CA, 16/08/12. Excellent, dewy mown grass and shrub aroma. Palate has light sulphur; grass again, clean biscuit malt sweetness with a nice parting smack of hop. Bright and lacy. Really decent.

super bright yellow pour big white head. Aroma honey and grass. Tastes husky grain rustic herbal grassy hops. some honey. punchy and good. Gusler (2653) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - DEC 11, 2000
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2004 The beer after is disembarking the 12-ounce brown bottle sets in the Pilsner glass a luminous gold with a towering bright white head and the texture semi-creamy, as it erodes the left over lace a thin but concealing sheet upon the glass. Nose is the prototypical pilsner crisp and clean, sweet malt with the start perfectly malted and slightly sweet, the top is light to moderate in its feel to the palate. Finish is biting in its acidity, the hops archetypal and the aftertaste desert bone dry, a drinkable beer. GermanBrews76 (680) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 9, 2003
pale straw color. Nose of light corn and cereal grains. Sweet and floral hints as well. Exceptional cleanup. Lots of clean, smooth maltiness. Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUL 1, 2012
12oz bottle pours crystal clear deep gold with thin near white head. The mild aroma offers up floral to spicy hops with mild sweet Pilsner like maltiness and a vague sort of earthiness in the background. The taste is pleasingly not overly sweet or overly floral. That works for me. I get sort of spicy to earthy to floral hop bitterness rimmed with some hop flavor and thin rings of sweet malts. The noble hop bitterness increases some into the finish. Alright. Another tasty lager from Sudwerk. yackery (168) - California, USA - JAN 6, 2013
Tap at Congregation. White head dissolves in five minutes over fast lacing and a clear, pilsner body. Aroma is pilsner mild but straw, grass, and some process of baking whole grain bread or urine. Taste is mildly sweet becoming water with a long, mild bitter finish. There is mild umami somewhere between the aroma and the finish. Overall, very good, but there are better.
