Bottle from Safeway. Medium amber pour with soft, foamy head. Gentle, malty aroma, caramel, rye. Smooth feel, taste is more of the malts, getting a bit savory and spicy near the back. Rye and hops worked into a nice combo for this one. Capa (3715) - DC, Washington DC, USA - JAN 16, 2018
Very deep orange with an off-white head. Malty, rye, medium spice, a bit of hops in there, too. Some caramel for good measure. Clean throughout. Full bodied. A nice brew, light on the bitterness but full of tasty goodness. slowrunner77 (13397) - Reno, Nevada, USA - NOV 15, 2017
Golden orange from the tap. Rustic grain bill and ample hops, with a hefty rye spice. Mellow yet complex at 7%. nealblind (2035) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - OCT 23, 2017

Bottle from Granzellas. Amber pour with an ample amount of creamy beige head. Aromatic with floral and grassy hops, a little spicy in the background. Taste is just about what I was hoping for, a spicy lager. The underlying malty sweetness is accented with spicy rye and florals. On the mild side of bitter. jls321 (32) - California, USA - JUN 15, 2017
Bomber Bottle from Safeway. Looks hazy deep orange amber, sudsy long-lasting foam and lace. Tastes of resiny zest with subtle rye sharpness, medium caramel malt sweetness, a little residual biscuity body. hop-forward but balanced. Medium body, high carbonation. 7% ABV. not that impressed given the high ratings. But a solid beer. Just nothing special.

Poured from 12oz brown bottle into tulip glass, hazy deep orange amber, sudsy long-lasting foam and lace. Fruity, resiny, musky, lemon zest, honey, subtle rye sharpness, medium caramel malt sweetness, a little residual biscuity body. Very hop-forward but still balanced, as IPAs go. Medium body, high carbonation. Very tasty and smooth, well-concealed alcohol. Moreish. BeerandBlues2 (14407) - Escondido, California, USA - MAY 21, 2017
