On tap. poured hazy golden color with a fizzy head. Aroma of tropical fruit and bit of malt and yeast. Taste of fruit and bit off malt sweetness. Decent bitterness and fairly clean finish. Moderate body, quite smooth with splash of alcohol. Quite bold for a lager but still interesting.

Some citrus and mash malt here. Decent balance but not a huge amount of character. Some booze. Bottle.

hayduke (5703) - Eureka, California, USA - AUG 30, 2016
This was a 22 oz bomber shared with Strylxone on Facebook Chat. Poured orange gold with a white head and excellent lacing rings. Nose of pineapple and cirrus. Medick body and very smooth mouth feel. Flavor is a mix of tropicals fruit and citrus Finishes with some citrus and light bitterness. but mostly fruit. Quite tasty, easy drinking, and enjoyable.

Strykzone (7715) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - AUG 30, 2016
Bomber from hayduke that we had over facebook chat. Just a little haze in this golden beer. A big off white head leaves interesting lace. Tropical fruit aromas. Pineapple, coconut, etc. The flavor is also dominated by that. There is some heat but it is not overpowering. Tangerine comes mid glass. Rich malts but not a lot of flavor to them. Caramel with yeast, especially as sediment from the bottom of the bottle is tasted. This could have passed as a big double IPA. It had a smoothness to it that took off sharp edges but it being a lager was hardly noticed.

Dogbrick (13998) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 30, 2016
This beer is a hazy orange-gold color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of tropical fruit, hops, yeast and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of grapefruit, dank hops, earthy yeast and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sampler at the Missouri Beer fest. Nice aroma and taste. Very hoppy and malty.

It pours clear golden with a white head. The aroma has big alcohol lager malt, simcoe funk, tropical fruit and caramel. It has a full rich body with mild carbonation. The taste is pretty big and bold like the aroma with lots of funk and alcohol. The finish has some grapefruit and resin. Pretty good.

On tap @ Sudwerk Dock Store. Clear golden orange beer with a finger of soapy white head. There’s a really nice grapefruit and pineapple aroma to this. Plenty of citric, tropical fruits as well. Pretty dank, too. Strong weed, pine, and herbs. Maybe a little more bitterness than I’d prefer, but it works fine with the juicy, fruity, and slightly sweet hop flavors. Mild malt character and sweetness, too. All around, nicely done.

A nice beer, more well balanced then we would have expected. Pours a clear orange with a thick white head. Smells nice, tropical fruit and grapefruit, some hops. Taste is maltier then the smell would suggest. Mango, carmelized sugar, with some spicy bitter in the finish. Paired with coconut shrimp, it mellows the mealtimes and brings out coconut in the beer. Had in the bottle.
